Norma A. Pfohl, age 99, of Sanborn, NY, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2014, in Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence. She was born in the Town of Wheatfield, on April 25, 1915, the daughter of the late Benjamin and Laura [Wendt] Walck.
Mrs. Pfohl was a life long resident of the Sanborn area. She helped her husband Hubert run the family farm for many years. She was a lifetime member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church Walmore and loved spending time with her family and friends. Mrs. Pfohl and her husband lovingly took care of their invalid daughter the late Karen Pfohl, who died in 1999.
She was the wife of the late Hubert F. Pfohl, who died in September of 2003. Mrs. Pfohl is survived by two daughters Beverly (Charles) Pendergast and Janet (David) Tober both of Sanborn, five grandchildren Mark (Nancy) Miller, Kristen (Johnny) Seawell, Rachel (Daryl) Haseley, Beth (Steven) Guidetti and Michael (Stephanie) Tober, ten great grandchildren Lauren, Ryan and Addison Miller, Brett and Jeremiah Seawell, Lauren and Riley Haseley, Emily Guidetti and Luke and Jane Tober. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Benjamin Walck, Emily DuBois and Allen Walck.
The family will be present on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 6168 Walmore Road, Sanborn, NY, with the Rev. Bruce M. Gamache officiating.
Memorials may be made in her name to St. Peter's Lutheran Church or to Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence. Interment at St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery, Sanborn, NY.

Pfohl of the Lockport road. The
Rev. Edward Granban officiated.
The bride wore a lace-trimmed
white satin dress, with a long train
Her long lace-trimmed tulle veil
had a heart shaped insert at the
bottom and was fastened hy a lace
cap trimmed with pearls and orange
blossoms. She carried a bouquet of
lillles, roses and lillies-of-the-val-
ley,
Miss Eleanor De Vantler of Bergholtz
was maid of honor, she wore a
gown of dubonnct pink satin, and
carried talisman rases and pompoms.
Miss Irma Walck. a bridesmaid,
was dressed In blue satin and her
bouquet was of pink roses and pompoms.

Following the ceremony, a reception
was held for 100 guests at
the home of the bride.
The couple later left on an extended
trip in Pennsylvania.
