    Mary J. Hoover (Braegas) age 81, of North Tonawanda, September 25, 2017 in Beechwood Nursing Home, where she has resided for the last five years. Mary along with her late husband Paul Hoover founded P&M Printing in 1966, which became Pioneer Printers in 1986. Mary had been a former member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, the Ladies Guild and had been a former youth counselor. She is currently a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She had been a member of the V.F.W. Drum Corps.
    Beloved mother of Tracy (William) Schultz of Grand Island, Carl (Valerie) Hoover of North Tonawanda, and Peter (Janet) Hoover of Waterford, MI. Grandmother of Cortny Frank, Roberta (Patrick) Callocchia, Billy (Katie) Schultz, Jacqueline Berecz, Paul (Candy) Hoover, Joshua (Vittoria) Hoover, Stephen Hoover. Great grandmother of 11 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Doris Brody and Janet Duquette. Aunt of Cecile Boyle and Kevin Duquette and several other nieces and nephews.
    The family will be by her side to welcome family and friends on Tuesday from 4 - 8 P.M. at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc. 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 10:30 A.M., interment will be in St. Matthew Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church.     In an afternoon ceremony, July 23, in St. Matthew's
    Evangelical Lutherai? Church, Miss Mary Jane Braegas,
    daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Braegas became the bride
    of Paul Hoover, son of Mr. and Mrs. Augustus Hoover, of
    Lucindia, Pa.
    The Rev. A. H. Moldenhauer of
    ficiated before an altar adorned
    with summer flowers.
    Mrs Paul Richert presented
    traditional organ music and ac-
    companied the soloist Alvin Pa-
    gels.
    Given in marriage by her fa-
    ther, the bride wore a gown of
    white organdy and eyelet with a
    sweetheart neckline, short sleeves
    and a floor-length skirt. A Juliet
    cap of eyelet held her veil of il-
    lusion. She carried white bridal
    roses and ivy on a prayer book.
    Matron of honor for her sister
    was Mrs. John Brody who wore a
    gown of orchid organdy. The dress
    was designed with a scoop neckline
    and satin sash encircled the waist
    She wore a pleated organdy band
    in her hair and carried daisies and
    ivy.
    Wearing an identically styled
    costume in yellow was Miss Jean
    Maerten, the bridesmaid. The
    bridegroom's niece, Miss Connie
    Neeley, as junior bridesmaid, wore
    mint green organdy. They carried
    bouquets of daisies and ivy.
    James Manth attended the bridegroom
    as best man. Ushers
    were John Brody and Paul Rum--
    bold.
    The bride's mother chose a gown
    of aqua lace accented with white
    accessories and a corsage of pink
    carnations. The bridegroom's sis-
    ter, Ms. Lee Keeley, wore a
    lavender print dress with navy ac-
    cessories and a corsage of pink
    carnations. A navy blue dress,
    wite accessories and corsage of
    carnations was selected by the
    bride's grandmother, Mrs. M. F.
    Copeland.
    A dinner in St. Matthew's par-
    ish hall was folowed by a recep-
    tion in the home of the bride's
    parents.
    After a wedding trip to Canada,
    Mr. and Mrs. Hoover are at home
    in 284 Miller St.

    in a garage behind his home
    at 287 Morgan St., Tonawanda.

    Carl M. Braegas, 71, died yesterday
    at. the home of his daughter, Mrs
    William Koepsel, 387 Morgan street.
    A native of Germany, 'he ,had resided
    in Tonawanda the last 37
    years. He leaves two sons, William
    and Carl F„ of North Tonawanda;
    three daughters, Mrs. Koepsel. Mrs.
    Rudolph Neuman, of North Tonawanda,.
    and Mrs. Robert Carrlgan,
    of Merriton, Ont: 24 grandchildren
    and four great grandchildren.
    Funerl services will be private and
    win be conducted, Friday afternoon
    at 2:30 o'clock at the Hamp funeral
    home, 17 Adam street. Burial will
    be In Resthaven cemetery.

    died this morning at her home, 287
    Morgan street. Born in Germany,
    she had resided in Tonawanda the
    past 38 years. She was a member
    \ of the Immanuel Lutheran church.
    Surviving are her husband, Carl;
    three daughters, Mrs. William
    Koepsel and Mrs. Rudolph Neuman
    of Tonawanda and Mrs. Robr
    art Corrigan of Thorold, Ont; t wo
    sons, William and Carl Jr., of
    Tonawanda; 24 grandchildren, one
    great grandchild, a brother, Frederick
