    Miss Judith Ann Richards exchanged nuptial
    vows at 3 Saturday afternoon, Nov. 16, 1963, with
    Ronald Lynn Branch at the Warren's Corners Methodist
    Church. The Rev. Philip Schaal officiated before
    an altar adorned with white chrysanthemums
    and double candleabra.
    Mr. and Mrs. Duane H.
    Richards of 5049 Ridge
    Road, Lockport, are the parents
    of the bride. The groom
    Is the sen Of Mr. and Mrs.
    Clifford Branch of 7046 Bishop
    Road Appleton.
    For her wedding, the
    bride chose1 a gown of peau
    de sole enhanced with Alencon
    lace. The sabrina neckline
    was accented with lace
    French paillettes and baby
    seed pearls which extended
    down to the fitted bodice.
    The bouffant skirt in redingote
    style was fashioned
    with center and side panels
    of lace inserts adorned with
    French beading and pearls
    and culminated In a chapel
    train. Her chapel - length
    veil of illusion was held by
    a crown of seed pearls.
    BRIDAL BOUQUET
    When given In marriage
    by her father, the bride carried
    a cascade bouquet of
    white carnations.
    A gown of emerald green
    was the choice of the honor
    attendant, Miss Nancy Fer*
    guston of Lockport. Fashioned
    of velveteen, the gown
    featured a bell - shaped
    skirt accented with fabric
    roses. A matching headpiece
    held her brief veil and she
    carried a colonial bouquet
    of yellow chrysanthemums.
    Identically attired, were
    the bridesmaids, Miss Carol
    Kendall of Lockport, and
    Miss Constance Sparrer of
    Appleton. They carried colonial
    bouquets of yellow
    roses.
    Roger Middlestadt of Appleton
    served as the groom's
    best man with guests being
    seated by David Branch,
    brother of the groom and
    Ronald D. Richards, brother
    of the bride.
    MOTHERS' GOWNS
    Mrs. Richards attended
    her daughter's wedding
    wearing a coffee beau sheer
    wool sheath with matching
    satin trim ading brown accessories.
    Mrs. Branch,
    mother of the groom, chose
    an olive green wool gown
    with leopard trim complemented
    with green accessories.
    Both mothers completed
    their ensembles with
    yellow chrysanthemums.
    Mrs. Philip Schaal presided
    at the Organ and accompanied
    the soloist. Mrs. William
    Sanders.
    The buffet lunch and re-
    ceptton were held at the
    American Legion Hall, Lockport,
    where the Arnle Becker
    Orchestra provided music
    for dancing.
    For their trip to Canada,
    the bride chose an emerald
    green mohair sheath
    with black accessories for
    traveling. She completed
    her costume with yellow
    sweetheart roses.
    Upon their return, they
    will make their home at 8014
    Charlotteville Road, Newfane.
    The bride Is a graduate of
    Newfane Central School and
    the I.B.M. School at Buffalo.
    She is employed by the Manufacturers
    and Traders
    Turst Co. in Lockport. The
    groom is a graduate of Newfane
    Central School and is
    employed by the Harrison
    Radiator Division of General
    Motors Corp.

    Notes:

    Jean E. Richards (Carrigan) age 94,entered into rest on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Lockport Rehab & Health Care Facility. Born on July 25, 1924 the daughter of James and Pearl Carrigan. Jean was a graduate of Wilson Central Schools. She married the late Duane “Joe” Richards and together they were members of the Warrens Corners Methodist Church, The Road Runners and the Elks of Lockport. Jean worked at the Felt Mill in Newfane and later at the Newfane Nursing Home. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Together with Joe she enjoyed traveling all over the world, other interests include knitting, quilting and playing cards. She has a competitiveness about her, in which she enjoyed race walking with her friends. Jean was known for her elderberry pies, Texas sheet cake and suet pudding.
    Jean is survived by her daughter Judy (late Ronald) Branch and her son Ronald (Catherine) Richards; grandmother of Jodie (Mike) Jeffery, Jeffrey (Andrea) Richards, Sandra (Rich) Williams the late Ronald Jr. (late Madhvi) Richards and Heather (Kevin) Zastrocky. She is survived by several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Jean later in life found joy with her canine companion Boston Terrier Bailee Jo.
    In lieu of flowers memorials to Warrens Corners Methodist Church or Niagara Hospice would be appreciated. NO PRIOR VISITATION. A private graveside will be held in North Ridge Cemetery.
