Born in Buffalo, Mr- Brandel
moved to Niagara Falls in
1923. He was employed by the
Charles Kuhns and the William
Young trucking firms
and the Hooker Chemical
Corp. He retired from Hooker
in 1947.

is survived by two daughters,
Mrs. Mary Adelaide Roth, this
city, and Mrs. Joseph B. (Cecelia)
Ward, Buffalo; two
brothers, Louis Joseph Brandel,
Buffalo, and Aloysius
Brandel, Town of Niagara, and
two sisters, Mrs. Louise Strohmeier
and Mrs. Kathryn Riddle.
Also surviving are 12
grandchildren, 10 great-grand-
children,, and 3 great-great-
grandchildren.

Mrs. Catherine Mary Brandel, wife
of Louis M. Brandel, 944 Depot
avenue,
died yesterday in a .Buffalo
hospital after a short Illness. Mrs.
Brandel had resided In this city for
t h e past 11 years, coming here with
her family from Buffalo. During her
residence here she made many friends
and announccmi.it of her death today
received with deep regret.
Besides her husband Mrs. Brandel
is survived by two daughters, Mrs.
Mary Ezard and Mrs. Cecelia Ward,
and two sons. Louis J. Brandel and
Aloysius Brandel, all of this city; a
sister. Miss Jane. Mullen, Syracuse.
and a brother. John Mullen. Roches-
ter. The funeral will be held at 8:30
a.m.. Tuesday from the family home
and at 9 a.m. from the Church of
the Sacred Heart. South avenue and
Eleventh street. Burial will be In
Pine Hill cemetery. Buffalo.
