Mildred (daughter of BRANDIS, William Frederick and GREENE, Alice M) was born on 2 Mar 1895 in Frankin Springs, Oneida County, NY; died on 27 Aug 1928 in Clinton, Oneida County, NY.     A pretty wedding was solemnized
    at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William
    F. Brandis at Franklin Springs at
    high noon on Wednesday of last week.
    December 24, when their daughter,
    Miss Mildred Brandis, became the
    wife- of Claude C. Sill of Franklin-
    ville, N. Y The ceremony was per-
    formed by Rev. Andrew I. Keener of
    the Clinton Presbyterian Church, the
    ring service being used. The wedding
    march was played by Mrs. Arthur
    Parrot of Utica.' Miss Pearl Sill, a
    sister of the groodr, and Fay Dowe of
    Utica were the attendants. The bride
    was prettily gowned in ivory satin
    with net and pearl trimmings and carried
    a bridal bouquet of white roses.
    The bridesmaid wore a gown of turquoise
    salin and georgette and carried
    a bouquet of white carnations.
    The bridal party stood beneath an
    arch of evergreen from which hung a
    large white bell. Following the ceremony
    dinner was served to the guests.
    The bride is well known in Franklin
    Springs and loved by her many
    friends. The groom has recently returned
    from service overseas and is a
    young man of high standing in his
    commuunity. Many beautiful and
    costly gifts show'the esteem in which
    the bridal couple is held. Their many
    friends ejstend sincere wishes for a
    long and happy life. Mr. and Mrs.
    Sill left in the afternoon for a short
    trip in the western part of the state.
