John D. McCoy, 88, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on February 13, 2022 at Northgate Health Care Facility in North Tonawanda, NY.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Charles and Julia (Kufchak) McCoy.
John graduated from Trott Vocational High School.  He served proudly in the United States Army in Korea from 1952 until his honorable discharge in 1954.  He married Lucille “Jean” (Parfinski) McCoy.  Mrs. McCoy predeceased him on October 27, 2014.  John was employed for over 30 years as a manager at Acme Markets in Niagara Falls and Buffalo, NY, and later worked in the same capacity at Tzetzo Brothers Wholesale in Niagara Falls for over 10 years.  John was a former vice commander and longtime member at the VFW Post #917 in Niagara Falls.  In his younger years, he was an avid baseball player, playing into his 50s, and also loved to bowl and play cards.  He also enjoyed frequenting the casino.
John is survived by his children, Linda (Ron) Yoerg, John (late Barbara) McCoy, and Shelly (Jerry) Tweed; his granddaughter, Erin (Micah) Garner; great grandchildren, Ava and Cole; his sister, Gracie (late Fritz) Andalora, as well as by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other loving family members through love and marriage.  In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by 6 siblings.

Lucille "Jean" McCoy, 77, of Niagara Falls, NY went home to her Lord on Monday, October 27, 2014. Beloved wife of John McCoy; loving mother of Linda (Ron) Yoerg, John (late Barbara) McCoy and Shelly (Jerry) Tweed. Daughter of the late Walter and Rachell Parfinski; survived by Patricia (Gary) Quandt, John (Linda) Parfinski, Barbara Kalafat, Thelma McPhearson, Gary Parfanski, Bruce (Louise) Parfinski and Greg (Joni) Parfinski; one granddaughter, Erin (Micah) Garner and several grandchildren through love and marriage.

No prior visitation. Private ceremony by the family.

SANBORN - James Andalora,
71, of Saunders Settlement Rd.,
died Thursday (May 2, 1957) in
Ransomville General Hospital after
a two-week illness. He had farmed
for 28 years.
Born in Italy, Mr. Andalora was
a member of St. Teresa of the
Infant Jesus Church, Niagara Falls.
Surviving are his wife, Lucille
Farnella Andalora; four daughters,
Mrs. James McCabe. San Diego,
Calif., Mrs. Walter Barfinski. Niagara
Falls, Mrs. Terrence Comerford
and Mrs. Earl Wolcott. both
of Sanborn; two sons, Alfred and
Charles Andalora, both of Sanborn;
a brother, Joseph Andalora,
Rahway, N.J., and 21 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted
at 8 a.m. Saturday at the
Pike Funeral Home here, followed
by a Requiem Mass at 9 o'clock
at St. Teresa's Church. The Rosary
will be recited at 9 o'clock tonight
at the funeral home by the Rev.
Leo Glyn, pastor of St. Teresa's.
Burial will be in Gate of Heaven
Cemetery.
