Carol (nee Buckley) Confer, 75, of North Tonawanda, NY, wife of the late Raymond Confer, passed from this life on Thursday, November 13, 2014 in Clare Bridge of Niagara, where she was residing, while under the loving care of Niagara Hospice. Born on September 17, 1939 in Angola, NY, she was the daughter of the late Dorothea (nee Rugemer) and Albert Fest.
Mrs. Confer attended schools in Angola, NY and later moved to North Tonawanda, NY, where she resided until her passing. Carol was employed as a secretary for Confer Plastics, until her retirement in 2001.
Mrs. Confer is survived by3 children; David DiGiuseppe of Columbus, OH, Lisa DiGiuseppe of Lockport, NY and Carolyn (Christopher) Stone of Wheatfield, NY, and 2 grandchildren; Brandon and Karissa Stone. In addition to her parents and husband, Carol was predeceased by her former spouse, Anthony DiGiuseppe.
There will be no prior visitation. A private funeral service with Carol's family will be held on Monday in Acacia Park Cemetery, North Tonawanda, NY. If desired, memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094.
