    of Miss Marian Frances Fritcher.
    daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Charles
    Fritcher, to George Henry Pogel. son
    of Mr. and Mrs. George Pogel, of
    Ridgeway. was solemnized Wednesday
    afternoon at 2 o'clock in the home of
    the bride's parents. Yates Center
    Road. Lyndonvllle.
    The Rev, James E. Nayior. pastor of
    the Baptist church, officiated at the
    ceremony in the living room under
    an arch of roses and ferns, in the
    presence of the immediate families.
    The bride was gowned in white silk
    crepe and carried bride's roses. Her
    only attendant was Miss Pearl Pogel,
    sister of the bridegroom, who wore
    pink silk crepe and carried pink
    sweetheart roses.
    The best man was Fred Pogel.

    ing dinner followed at the home of
    the bride, 12 being seated at the
    bride's, table, which was centered with
    roses, the color .scheme being pink and
    white.
    Mr and Mrs Pogel left for a motor
    trip to Oswego. N. Y The brides
    going-away suit was a royal blue with
    accessories to match. Upon their re-
    turn they will be at home to their
    friends after May 15 at Lyndonville.

    MEDINA — A veteran of the Spanish American War, Henry G. Pogel, 89, of Ridge Road, died Sunday morning (May 23, 1965) in the Veterans Administration Hospital, Buffalo.
    He was born Jan. 8, 1876 in the Town of Shelby. Mr. Pogel was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church here and an honorary member of the Medina Veterans of Foreign Wars Post.
    Surviving are two sons, Fred E. Pogel of Niagara Falls and George Pogel of Ridge Road; one daughter, Mrs. Frederick (Pearl) Clack of Johnson Creek; one brother, Charles Pogel of Ridge Road; eight grandchildren, two step - grandchildren, one great- grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
    Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Barnes Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St., Medina, where funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Wilbur P. Lottes of Trinity Lutheran Church will officiate.
    Burial will be in Hartland Central Cemetery.

    Mrs. Charles Bacon, 48, of Ridgeway,
    died suddenly Friday evening
    in Lockport City Hospital
    following an operation. Born in
    the Town of Yates, she had been
    a resident of Rldgeway for many
    years and was a member of the
    Rldgeway Universalist Church,
    She is survived by her husband;
    three sons, Pvt. Fred Pogel, sta-
    tioned with the U S. Army at
    Camp Swift, Texas; George H.
    Pogel of Lewiston and Charles
    Edward Bacon, Jr., at home; one
    daughter, Mrs. Frederick Clack
    of Lockport; two brothers, George
    Green of Charlotte, and Earl
    Green of Medina; two sisters,
    Mrs. Floyd Richards of Medina
    and Mrs. Bertha Furness of Rid-
    geway, and one grandson, Law-
    rence Wain Pogel of Niagara
    Falls.
    Funeral services were conduc-
    ted Tuesday afternoon by Rev.
    George Gay. Burial was in Bates
    Road Cemetery.

    Robert B. Green died Monday
    noon at the home of his daughter,
    Airs. Charles Bacon at Ridgeway.
    Mr. Green was 74 years of age and
    was born in Norfolk, England. He
    fame to Orleans County and setled
    at Yates Center about 50
    years ago, but for the past 24
    years has lived in and about Ridgeway.
    There are left to mourn his
    passing three daughters, Hattle
    M. Richards of Medina, Bertha L
    Furnace and Lena L. Bacon of

    Ridgeway; four sons, George W.
    of Rochester, William A. and
    Frank J. of Lyndonvllle, and Earl
    of Oak Orchard. Two sisters and
    one brother in Norfolk, England.
    Twenty-four grandchildren and
    nine great grandchildren and several
    nieces and nephews.
    Funeral service will be held
    from home of his daughter Mrs.
    Charles Bacon, Ridge road, Wednesday
    afternoon at 2:30 Rev.
    Donald K. Evans officiating. Interment
    in Betes Road cemetery.
