Syracuse, Jan. 28.-Charles H.
Carpenter, 57, of 200 North Wood
drive, Mattydale, died yesterday
merning at 11 in Crouse-Irving
hospital.
Mr. Carpenter was shipping
clerk at Alexander Grants. He was
a member of North Syracuse
Sportsmen's association, Dewitt
Rod and Gun club and Mattydale
Evangelical church.
Surviving are hie wife, Mrs.
Flora Shaw Carpenter; mother,
Mrs. Marvin Scovill; two daughters,
Mrs. Henry Bray of Copenhagen
and Mrs. Neil T. Johnson
of Carthage; a stepson, Paul Borland;
a stepdaughter, Mrs. Herbert
Samuels, both of Mattydale;
• sister, Mrs. Muriel Kelland of
Waterloo and 13 grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p. m. Monday
at the rooms of Sears, North
Syracuse, Rev. Sherman Eckel officiating.
Burial will be in North
Syracuse cemetery.
