  1. 1.  BRAYTON, Irwin R was born in Apr 1837 in Herkimer County, NY (son of BRAYTON, Isaac and BURWELL, Nancy); died on 16 Aug 1910 in Buffalo, Erie County, NY.

    Irwin R. Brayton died yesterday afternoon
    after an illness of several months
    from heart disease at his home, No. 170
    Franklin Street. Mr. Brayton was born
    in Herkimer County in 1837 and coming
    to Buffalo in 1852 he entered the employe
    of William H. Glenny. In 1866 he became
    a member of the firm of William H.
    Glenny Sons & Co., in which he continued
    until 18S8 when he withdrew to
    start in the crockery business for himself
    at No. 692 Main Street, where he conducted
    his business until his death.
    Mr. Brayton was one of the oldest
    members of the Buffalo Club and a communicant
    of Trinity Church. His funeral
    will take place Thursday afternoon from
    bis residence.

    Mrs. Nancy Burwell Brayton, widow of
    Isaac Brayton and mother of County Clerk
    Charles N. Brayton. died at the home of
    her son, Irwin R. Brayton, 170 Franklin
    street a t 2 o'clock yesterday morning. Her
    home was in South Wales where the remains
    were taken yesterday. The funeral
    will take place a t South Wales tomorrow
    at 2 P. M.
