George W. Eick of 9058 Telegraph
Road, Gasport died Monday at
Medina Memorial Hospital following
a short illness.
He was born June 9, 1896 in the-
Town of Royalton, son of the late
Ferdinand and Anna (Brege) Eick.

of his life and farmed for many
years at his present address. He was
a member of the Holy Cross
Lutheran Church of Middleport.
He and his wife, Minnie Eick, had
celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary
on Dec. 26, 1986.
Besides his wife, survivors include
one son, Robert (Ruth) Eick of
Alabama, N.Y.; three granddaughters,
Mrs. Paul (Carol)
Schafer of Basom, Mrs. David
(Elaine) Wheatley of Alabama,
N.Y., and Mrs. Paul (Diane) Phelps
of Corfu; six great-grandchildren;
one brother, Erwin Eick of Middleport,
and several nieces and
nephews.
Friends may call today (2-4,7-9)
at the Bates, Wallace and Heath
Funeral Home Inc., 38 State St.,
Middleport. Funeral services will be
held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Holy
Cross Lutheran Church, Middleport,
with the Rev. William Dietsche
officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Pleasant
Cemetery, West Shelby.
Memorial gifts may be made to
the Holy Cross Lutheran Church.

home. She is survived by her husband

Lockport, Sept. 21-Mrs Stella
Rosella Koepsel, 94 years old, of Royal-
ton, died last evening at the home of
her daughter, Mrs. Henry Wickoff at
Wolcottsville. She is survived by three
daughters, one son and two brothers.
The funeral will be held Sunday after-
noon at 2 o'clock from St. Michael's
church. Burial will be in the Wol-
