    of Victor, formerly of Melvin Hill
    Road, Phelps, died Sunday (Nov.
    1) at Cortland Memorial Hospital.
    Friends may call from 2 to 4 and
    7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Dewey
    Funeral Home, 81 E. Main St.
    The military service will be at
    2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the
    funeral home with the Rev. Gary
    Hakes of the United Church of
    Phelps officiating. The Waterloo
    VFW Post will give military honors.
    Burial will be in Rest Haven
    Cemetery, Phelps.
    Mr. Brege served as a sergeant
    with the Army Engineers in World
    War ll in the Pacific Theater in
    Okinawa. He was a member of the
    Waterloo VFW Pest and the AFL
    Local 85 Carpenters Union of
    Rochester for 40 years.
    Surviving are his wife, Dorothea;
    three daughters, Karen Brege of
    Tonawanda, Anita and Kathleen
    Brege, both of East Rochester; two
    sons, William of Derby, N.Y., and
    Scott of Phelps; two grandchildren;
    one brother, Harry of Martinez,
    Ca.; several nieces and nephews.
    In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions
    may be made to the
    School of the Holy Childhood of
    Rochester or Victor-Farm ington
    Volunteer Ambulance Corps.

    Albert W. Brege, 91, of
    Medina, died Saturday at the
    Maplewood Nursing Home,
    Webster, following a short
    illness.
    Mr.. Brege was born in
    Medina, June 26, 1887. He had
    been a farmer and self employed
    carpenter in this area
    all of his life, and was a
    member of the Methodist
    Church.
    Survivors include two sons,
    Claude of Phelps and Harry of
    Flemington, N.J.; 14 grandchildren;
    30 greatgrandchildren;
    eight greatgreat-
    grandchildren; • sister,
    Mrs. Ilda Ackerson of Akron,
    N.Y., and several nieces and
    nephews.
    He was the father of the late
    Howard and Donald Brege.
    Funeral services were held
    Monday at 2 p.m. from the
    Barnes-Tuttle Funeral Home,
    226 Peral St., Medina, with the
    Rev. Earl Bell officiating.
    Burial was in the West
    Ridgeway Cemetery, Medina.

    PHELPS - Funeral services for
    Charles F. Brignall.^80. of the Geneva-
    Lyons Rd., will be held at 2
    p. m. Wednesday at Eacker Funeral
    Home. The Rev. Leonard B.
    Whitney, pastor of Phelps Metho-
    dist Church, will officiate. Burial
    will be in Resthaven Cemetery,
    Phelps, at the convenience of the
    family.
    Friends may call at the funeral
    home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m.
    today and Tuesday.
    Mr. Brignall died Sunday morn-
    ing at his home. Prior to his retire-
    ment several years ago, he had
    Crushed Stone Co., Oaks Corners.
    He has also raised bees on his
    home property.
    Survivors include six daughters,
    Mrs. Gordo (Valeita) Overslaugh,
    Interlaken; Mrs. Rollin (Hazel)
    Hood, Ithaca; Miss Margaret and
    Miss Junen Brignal, at home; Mrs
    Kenneth (Eleanor) Greene, Fair-
    port; Mrs Claude (Dorothea) Bre-
    ge, Phelps; two sons, Howard
    Brignall, Oaks Corners; Charles
    Brignall, at home; one sister, Mrs.
    Edith Peake, Phelps; and one
    brother, Herbert Brignall, Water-
    loo; 16 grandchildren, four great-
    grandchildren, one niece and one
    nephew.

    wife of Christian Brege, Sr., were
    held Saturday afternoon at her
    home In Royalton. Rev. Frederick

    and Norman Brege, Marshall Owen

    at his home on Maple Ridge
    Friday afternoon of pneumonia. He
    is survived by his wife and three

    Ridge, George of Upwood, England.
    The funeral was held at the house
