    GEORGE P. EDDY JR. George P. Eddy Jr.,78, of West Bloomfield died Saturday, May
    19, 2001, peacefully in his home, of cancer. Born in Niagara Falls, he was the
    son of Dr. George P. Eddy and Mrs. Helen T. Eddy. He graduated from Niagara
    University after serving as a P-47 Fighter Pilot in the European Theatre in
    WWII. After living in Lewiston, NY for several years, he moved to Honeoye Falls,
    and later retired from Xerox. He was an active member in the Bloomfield
    Scientific Club. He is survived by his wife, Joan; four daughters, Robin (Terry)
    Nobles, Sandra (George) Hudler, Nancy (Edward) Parsons and Betsy Lewis; nine
    grandchildren, Kristen and Scott (Stacey) Nobles, Justin (Kim) Patterson,
    Jennifer and Elizabeth Hudler, Heather and Luke Parsons, Ian and Hayley Lewis;
    two great-grandchildren, Reece and Aiden Paterson; brother, Jerome S. (Joan)
    Eddy, and brother-in-law, Richard D. (Esther) Simons and their families. A
    Memorial Service was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 26th, 2001, at the
    Bloomfield United Methodist Church, East Bloomfield, NY with Pastor Juanita
    Bastian, officiating. There were no calling hours. Interment, North Ridge
    Cemetery, Lockport, NY at the convenience of his family. In lieu of flowers,
    those wishing to donate may send gifts to International Myeloma Foundation,

    Joan Simons Eddy died 4/5/16. Born and raised in Niagara Falls, NY.,She was the daughter of the late Sybil and William Simons. Predeceased in 2001, by her highschool sweetheart and husband, George P. Eddy, to whom she was married 57 years.Predeceased by her daughter Robin Nobles(Terry). She is survived by her brother, Judge Richard D.(Essie) Simons;and by her daughters, Sandra (George) Hudler, Nancy(Edward) Parsons, Betsy Lewis;grandchildren, Scott (Stacy) Nobles,Kristen Nobles, Justin Patterson,Liz Hudler,Jen (Mike) Kwiatkowski,Heather Parsons, Luke (Beth) Parsons,Ian Lewis, Hayley (Dr. Nathan) Cary; 7 great grandchildren. After her husband came home from WW2, they raised their children in both Lewiston and Honeoye Falls. It was in East Bloomfield where they built their final home. Joan graduated from SUNY Geneseo with a B.A., Art History and MFA, Library Science.In 1988. She helped establish the East Bloomfield Library,retiring at 73. She was active in Garden Club, Historical Society, she enjoyed volunteering, bridge, Lake of the Woods, and helping raise her grandchildren. A memorial service will be held June 11 at 2pm at the United Methodist Church, East Bloomfield. The family appreciates your condolences.
