    Mr. Joseph P Heath, of Medina, passed away Monday,
    January 05, 2015 at the New York State Veterans
    Home in Batavia.
    Mr. Heath was born in Niagara Falls, NY, a son of the
    late Lincoln Jacob and Loretta (Martin) Heath. A
    graduate of Bishop Duffy HIgh School, he served in the
    US Marine Corps in Viet Nam from 1960-65. Mr.
    Heath was employed by Harrison Radiator Division of
    GMC, as a floor inspector, for several years. He was a
    member of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, Lincoln Pot
    #1483, VFW, Butts-Clark Post #204 American Legion,
    and was a Master Gardener.
    Survivors include his wife, Marie F. (Frenier); 2
    children,, Joseph J. (Lisa) Heath and Jennifer (Dewey)
    Back both of Batavia, 4 grandchildren,, Conor and Kylie
    Heath, Bethany and Jacob Back; 4 great
    grandchildren; brother of Barbara A. Wood, Patrick G.
    Heath, Mary Margaret Hammill, Lorraine M. Harvey,
    Margaret R. Dominski, Diane M. Pivetz,, Sandra J.
    Setlik, Brian E. Heath and Thomas D. Heath; several
    nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his
    daughter, Heather Rose Heath in 2011 and his
    brother, Michael A. Heath.
    Friends may ca on Wednesday (4-7) at the Cooper
    Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St.,, Medina. The Rev.
    Daniel J. Fawls will celebrate his Mass of Christian
    Burial on Thursday at 1PM at Holy Trinity Parish/St.
    Mary's Church. Military honors will be accorded at the
    church by members of Lincoln Post #1483, VFW and
    Butts Clark Post #204, American Legion.
    Memorials may be made to the NYS Veterans Home.

    Marie F. Heath, 79 of Medina, entered into rest on December 19, 2020 at the New York State Veterans Home at Batavia.
    Born July 23, 1941 in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late Mabel Piper and Louis Frenier.  She married Joseph P. Heath on July 12, 1969.
    Predeceased by her daughter, Heather R. Heath on February 2, 2011 and husband, Joseph P.  Heath on January 5, 2015.
    Survivors include her daughter, Jennifer (Dewey) Back of Burkburnett, TX; son Joseph (Lisa) Heath of Batavia; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
    Marie retired from Trek, Inc. in the early 2000’s.  She was a Master Gardener with the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Orleans County.  Marie also enjoyed taking care of her beloved dachshunds.
    Calling hours will be held on Sunday, December 27th from 3:00-6:00p.m. at Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Medina.
