    t h i s city was quietly solemnized
    here yesterday afternoon at 3
    o'clock. Rev. George S. Swezey Officiating.
    Attendants were Miss
    Esther Brewer, sister of the bride,
    and Charles R. Criswell, both of
    Akron.
    Tba bride wore a gown and hat
    of powder blue and her maid waa
    gowned in gray. The groom's gift
    t o the bride waa a ring and to his
    best man a tie clasp, while tha
    bride presented a set of pyrex to
    her maid.
    Mr. and Mrs. Long left for a
    trip t o Crystal Lake, Ill., t h e bride
    wearing a suit of grey Canton
    crepe and will later be at home in
    this city

    Mr. Brewer is survived by his
    wife, Katie A., nee Scbad, five
    daughters and two sons, Mrs.
    Angeline Peters of Middleport,
    Mrs. Evelyn Brener of Carney
    Road, George A. Brewer of Middleport,
    Mrs. Elide Cnriawell of
    Fletcher Road, Norman Brewer
    of Marshall Avenue, Mrs. Esther
    CrisweU of Lockport Road and
    Mrs. Millian Shntes of Cedar
    Street; also 38 grandchildren, including
    three grandsons in service,
    Dorwin Brewer in the Marines,
    Eugene H. Schuler and
    Fred Peters in the Navy. Also
    44 great-grandchildren.
    Funeral services were held
    Saturday afternoon, Rev. L. E.
    Seeley officiating. Bnrial Wee in
    Dysinger's Cemetery.

    Mrs. Catherine A. Brewer,
    95, who leaves 170 direct descendants,
    died Tuesday (May
    26, 1964) at the home of a
    daughter, Mrs Norman Berner,
    249 Davison Road, after a long
    illness.
    Mrs. Brewer was born in the
    Town of Royalton, April 10,
    1869, daughter of Charles H.
    and Hilda Middaugh Schad. She
    was the widow of Eugene W.
    Brewer.
    Besides Mrs. Berner, she Is
    survived by four other daugha
    ters, Mrs. Angle Peters, Mid-
    dleport; Mrs. Irving Criswell,
    Lockport, and Mrs. Charles
    Criswell and Mrs. H o w a rd
    both of Akron; two
    sons, George A. Brewer, Middleport,
    and Norman Brewer of
    Akron, 37 grandchildren; 106
    great - grandchildren; 57 greatgreat
    - grandchildren; and several
    nieces and nephews.
    Friends may call at the Ross
    Funeral Home Inc., 32 John
    St., Akron, where the family
    will be present from 2 to 4 and
    7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services
    will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m.
    with the Rev. Charles P. Lunsford
    of Calvary Baptist Church,
    Akron, officiating. Burial will
    be in Disinger Cemetery, Town'
    of Royalton.
