A very quite wedding was solemnized
Thursday evening at Evangelical
Lutheran Church, when Margaret
WlUover. daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Leonard Brewer of 281 Walnut
St., was united in marriage to
Theodore Gill, son of Mr. and Mrs.
LeRoy Gill, 226 Caledonia St., the
Rev. Herman Meier officiating.
The bride wore a street-length
dress of purple velvet with headdress
of white roses and matching
corsage. Her only attendant was
Miss Rena Rogers, who wore a dress
of burgandy velvet with headdress
of yellow roses and matching corsage.
The beat man was LeRoy
Gill, brother of the groom.
The bride's mother wore a dress
of blue crepe with matching accessories
and the groom's mother wore
a flowered silk Jersey dress with
matching accessories. A reception
was held at the home, of Mrs.
Charles Brewer, grandmother of
the bride. The bridal couple are
making their home at 196 Locust
St.
Among pre-nuptial affairs for the
bride were; A pantry shower given
by Mrs. Bernard Woolaton and Mrs.
Frank Shaw at the borne of the
former; a kitchen shower given by
Mrs. Charles Brewer; a novelty
shower given by Mrs. Harold Moore
and a personal shower given by
Miss Rena Rogers.

Brewer. 55. of 2379 Lockport-OIcott
Rd , Newfane. died Sunday
(Dec. 11, 1960) in his home.
Mr. Brewer was born Aug. 15,
1905, in the Town of Porter, the
the son of Charles and Martha
Hillman Brewer. He resided in
Olcott for about 15 years before
moving here a year and a half
ago.
He was active in the Niagara
County Civil Defense Auxliary Po-
lice, the CIO and had been em-
ployed at Harrison Radiaor Div-
ision, General Motors Corp., for
many years.
Mr. Brewer was a membr of
St. Luke's Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his wife, Marg-
aret; two daughters, Mrs. Ted
Gil of Olcott and Mrs. Robert
Thorsby of Gasport; two sisters,
Mrs. Elwood Rohring of Wilson
and Mrs. Alex Szur of Lockport;
two brothers,, Chester and Herb-
ert S., both of Lockport, and two
granddaughters.
Friends may call at the Glenn
H. Corwin Funeral Home, Inc.,
from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 where
service will be held at 2 Wednes-
day afternoon with the Rev. Rob-
ert W. Klingebiel officiating. Bur-
ial will be in Corwin Cemetery.

William C. Brauer died at the
home of his daughter, Mrs. William
Heiman. on the Salt road, town of
Clarence, Friday morning, November
24, 1933, in his 81st year. Surviving
are four daughters and four sons,
Mrs. Charles Heidenreich, Mrs. Her-
bert, Sootheran, Mrs. William Heiman,
Mrs. August Schendel, Charles,
Fred, Melvin and Albert Brauer, also
?? grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren,
one brother, Christ Brauer.
Funeral services will be held from
a daughter's home, Sunday afternoon,
November 28th, at two o'clock
and from St. Paul's Lutheran church,
Wolcottsburg, at 2:80. Burial in St.
Paul's Lutheran cemetery.

celebrated their golden anniversary

Ths house was attractively decorated
in yellow the table was adorned
with yellow chrysanthemums,
and a wedding cake.
The bride of 50 years ago was
gowned in blue silk faille, trimmed
with gold lace. The groom wore his
original wedding suit of black broadcloth
In tuxedo style.
Four Generations Present
Mr. and Mrs. Brauer have nine
children living, twenty five grand
children, and six great grand child-
ren.
The children who were preent to
extend their congratulations were
Messers Charles, Fred, Melvin and
Albert Brauer with their wives and
Meadames Minnie Heidenreich of
Cleveland, O. and Matilda Edmonds
of Rosburg, Ore. Mrs August
Schendel, Mrs. William Heiman and
their husbands and a sister of the
bride Mrs. Charles Hanson.
The grand children who attended
were Mr. and Mra Rohrlng, Mr. and
Mrs. HolHns, Joseph Heidenrelch,
Mr. and Mra Ertman Leonard, Chester,
Herbert, Richard Lorralnt, Marvin,
Evelyn and Everett Brauer and
Velma and Vernon Helman.

their Golden Wedding trip
until later on account of the visit
of their daughter, Mrs Edmonds of
Oregon.
