    of the marriage of Miss Carlene
    Jane Brewster, daughter of Mr.
    and Mrs. Arthur Brewster of
    Weedsport, to Nicholas Baffaro,
    son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Baffaro
    of Rye, N. Y. Rev. John D.
    Gregory performed the ceremony
    in the Presbyterian Church in
    Rye on February 11. The couple
    was attended by Miss Rose Baffaro.
    sister of the bridegroom, and
    Lewis Delago.
    The bride is a graduate of
    Weedsport Central School and
    Ithaca College where she received
    a bachelor of science degree and
    is a member of Phi Delta Phi. She
    is now teaching physical education
    in Painted Post High School. Mr.
    Baffaro is a graduate of Rye High
    School and Ithaca College where
    he majored in music. He is a
    member of Phi Mu Alpha fraternity
    and the Oracle, an honorary
    society based on scholarship.
    He is a faculty member of Williston
    Park High School, Williston
    Park. L. I.
    Following the wedding Mr. and
    Mrs. Baffaro returned to" their respective
    schools to complete their
    present teaching contracts

    Arthur W. Brewster, 83, died Thursday
    at his home, 34 Green St., Weedsport, after
    a long Alness. He was born in Scipio and he
    had lived in Weedsport 56 years. The
    Brewsters celebreated their 56th wedding
    anniversary last October.
    A New York Central signalman, Mr.
    / Brewster retired in January, 1956, after 31
    years of service. He had been a member of
    the Weedsport Presbyterian Church since
    1928, and was an elder and trustee.
    Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Edna Jones
    Brewster; two daughters, Mrs. Livio
    (Marjorie) Cosulich-of Red Bank, N.J.,
    and Mrs. Nicholas (Carlene) Buffaro of
    Canton; two brothers, Harris of Weedsport
    and Coral of Moravia; seven grandchildren;
    five great-grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be at 2 p.m.
    Saturday at the Weedsport Presbyterian
    Church with the Frederick A. Schimmer of
    Wampsville, former pastor, officiating.
    Burial will be in Weedsport Rural
    Cemetery.
    Friends may call at the Kinney Funeral
    Home from 2 to 4 p.m and 7 to 9 toight.

    Leonard Brewster, well known and
    respected farmer of the Town of
    Scipio, died last night at his home.
    Although well along ia years, Mr.
    Brewster has enjoyed good health
    until a period of only 10 or 12
    months before his death, but in
    which time he failed quicly, so
    that the end, which came last night
    was not wholy unexpected.
    He was born March 16, 1850, in
    Union Springs and lived all his life
    in or near that locality. He is sur-
    vived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs.
    Clayton Waldron of Grand Rapids,
    Mich.; four sons, William W. of
    Ladyard, Arthur W. and Harrison
    of Cato and Coral C of Scipio; six
    brothers, Henry, George and Fred
    of Ledyard, Edwin and Benjamin of
    Scipio and Isaac of Union Springs.

    Weedsport, Feb 11. - Mrs.
    Frances Brewster, 80, died suddenly
    Thursday at the home of
    her son, Harris Brewster, West
    Brutus Street, in this village.
    Airs. Brewster was the widow of
    Leonard Brewster and had spent
    the most of her lifetime on their
    farm near Sciplo, coming to
    Weedsport this winter to visit
    htr sons, Harris and Arthur
    Br< wster of this village. Besides
    these two sons, she was also survived
    by two sons William Brewster
    and Coral Brewster of Sciplo,
    and a daughter, Mrs. Clayton
    Waldron of Grand Rapids, Michigan,
    and by twelve grandchildren.
    Funeral services were held at
    her home In Sciplq at 1:30 o'clock
    Sunday afternoon, with services
    at 2 o'clock at No. 1 Church in
    Sciplo, with Rev. Casper Gregory,
    pastor of the church officiating,
    assisted by Rev. Carl S. Van
    Winkle, pastor of the First
    Church of Christ of Auburn. Burial
    was In Evergreen Cemetery at
    Scipioville.
