    Our sweet Jane entered into rest peacefully on February 22, 2015, after a brief illness, under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born May 16th, 1921 in Lockport, New York to Clarence and Mabel (James) Zimmerman. In 1942, she married Donald E. Sinclair of Lockport, NY. After marriage, they moved to Olcott, NY where Don worked at the Hedley Marina. In 1953, they moved to Wilson where Don worked at the Beccue Boat Basin Marina, while Jane worked for Marine Midland Bank as a teller until retiring in 1982. She was pre-deceased by her husband Donald in 1998, brother Clarence “Bud” & Alice Zimmerman, and sister Marjorie & Frank Disinger. She is survived by her only son, Donald Jr. & Linda (Pollock) Sinclair, brother Frederick and Helen Zimmerman, and Ronald and Sharon Zimmerman, grandchildren Michael, Terri, John and Katie, along with four great grand-children. Also surviving are fifteen nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Exley United Methodist Church in Wilson, and a member of the Newfane chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. Jane was a loving and giving soul and friends and family who knew her all have a special memory they cherish of their time with her. Her light and love will sorely be missed by those whose lives she touched in her special way. May God speed her journey to be with Don and may their voyage together have fair winds and following seas. Funeral arraignments by Rutland-Corwin Funeral Home in Newfane, NY. No prior visitation. A private Christian burial in Glenwood Cemetery with a celebration at a future time at the convenience of the family & friends to be determined. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests you send donations in Jane’s honor to Niagara Hospice House, (www.niagarahospice.org) 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094.
