    Schurr, 71, died unexpectedly
    Tuesday (March 30, 1965) In
    Mount View Hospital, Lockport.
    Born Sept. 24. 1893 in Buffalo,
    she 'was the daughter of Mr.
    and Mrs. Henry Briggs. Her
    mother died at the age of 93 on
    March 6, 1965.
    She was married to Robert
    Schurr about 45 years ago and
    the couple lived in Wilson since
    that time. Mrs. Schurr was a
    member of Grace Lutheran
    Church of North Tonawanda
    and of Twin City Council 37.
    Daughters of America.
    Besides her husband, she Is
    survived by a son, Lloyd H. and
    four grandchildren, all of Wilson;
    also a brother, Kempton F.;
    Briggs of Tonawanda.
    Friends may call at the
    Creasey Memorial Chapel, 138:
    Delaware St., Tonawanda.
    where services will be held at 2
    p.m. Friday.
    Burial will be in North Ridge

    The marriage of Miss Edna. Briggs, daughter of Mr and Mrs Henry Briggs of 57 Fletcher street, to Mr. Robert Schurr at Ransomville. was solemnized Wednesday afternoon at five o'clock in the Grace Lutheran Church on Oliver street. Rev J E Krumweide of Buffalo performed the ceremony in the presence of about seventy-five guests. The bride wore a gown of white crepe de chine. Her veil of embroidery was caught with pearls and she carried a shower bouquet of bride roses and white sweetpeas. The maid of honor, Miss Elizabeth Darroch, cousin of the bride, was gowned in pink georgette and carried an arm bouquet of pink roses and white asters tied with pink tulle. The bridesmaids were Miss Marie Rebasz and Miss Mrgaret Rebasz. Miss Rebasz wore a gown of green geargette and Miss Rebasz was gowned in blue georgette. Their bouquets were alike, being of pink and white asters. The flower firl, ittle Helen Haas, wore a frock of yelllow voile and carried a golf basket filled with white sweetpeas tied with a bow of white tulle. Master Clifford Schroeder of Olcott acted as ring bearer. Mr. Fred Schurr of Ransomville, brother of the groom, was the best man and the ushers were Mr. Raymond Vanbre of Buffalo and Mr Edward Forth of Beach Ridge. Following the ceremony a wedding dinner was served at the bride's home with covers for eleven at the bride's table which was centered with pink and white roses. Among the guests were Mrs. Christine Darroch and son, Ken Bath of Lockport, Mr. and Mrs. William Brooks, Mr. and Mrs. David Britten and son, Kenneth, Mr. and Mrs. George Cretsinger, Mrs. Susan Vanbre and Mrs. Julia Deitz of Buffalo. r. and Mrs. Fred Schroeder of Olcott, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schurr, Dr., and daughter Elsie, Mr. Fred Schurr, Jr. of Ransomville, Mr. Raymond Vendre of Buffalo, and Mr. Edward Forth of Beach Ridge.
    MR. and Mrs. Schurr left on a motor trip and on their return will reside at Ransomville.

    HENRY BRIGGS
    Henry Briggs, 73, a former resident
    of Tonawanda, died early
    today at his home. Town Line
    road, town of Wilson. Born in East
    Saginaw, Mich., he had resided
    in Tonawanda many years before
    removing to the town of Wilson
    several years ago, He was a
    member of the Grace Evangelical
    Lutheran church and the Protective
    Home circle of the Tonawandas.
    He leaves a wife, Frances,
    nee Vandre; a son, Kempton C.
    F, of Tonawanda; a daughter, Mrs.
    Edna D. Schurr of Wilson, and a
    brother, Frank of Buffalo. Funeral
    sen-ices will be held Wednesday
    afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at
    the home of his son, 29 Fletcher
    street. Rev. Clarence L, Braun
    will officiate. Burial will be in
    Elmlawn

    TONAWANDA-Mrs. Frances
    F. Briggs, 94, of 520 Morgan
    St.- died today (March 6,
    1965) in her home after a
    long illness.
    She was a life long resident
    of this city and a charter
    member of Grace Lutheran
    Ohurch "where she taught Sunday-
    School for~25 years- -
    She was a member and past
    president of the Ladies Aid
    Society of the church and a
    member and past president of
    Twin City Council 37, Daughters
    of America.
    She was the widow of Henry
    Briggs, who died in 1940.
    Surviving are a daughter,
    Mrs. Robert Schurr, Wilson;
    a son, Kempton F. Briggs, this
    city;; and three grandchildren
    and six great grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be conducted
    at 2 p.m. Tuesday in
    the Creasey Memorial Chapel
    by Rev. Howard EJ. Funk. Burial
    will be in Elmlawn Cemetery.
