    Hurtgam Rites Held In Cambria Church
    Services Conducted In English And German For 86 Year old
    North Ridge Sept 23 - Services for Charles Hurtgam, 86, who died at his home on the Frog Hollow road, town of Cambria, Sunday, were held on Tuesday at the home and later to St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran church, of which he was member. The Rev. Carl W. Oldach, the pastor, officiated. Services were to both German and English. The choir sang "I'm But a Stranger Here, Heaven Is My Home," and "Jerusalem, Thou City Fair." The bearers, all neighbors, were Charles Hillman Jr., Fred Behrens, Chester Demmin, John Demmin, W. Ransom Peterson and Julius Seefeldt. Burial was to St Peter's Lutheran cemetery. Mr. Hurtgam is survived by his widow, Mrs. Augusta Hurtgam, eight children, 13 grand-children, and one great-grandchild.

Augusta, age 85, wife of the late Charles Hurtgam; mother of Mr. Chester Rohring, Mrs. Willis Schultz of the Town Line Road, Wilson, N.Y., Edward, Herbert, Carl and Mr. William Hlllman of Ransomville, N.Y., Mrs. Mary Schultz of Niagara Falls. N.Y. and Henry of Los Angeles, California. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Funeral Thursday. August 5, 1954 at 2 p.m. from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Chester Rohrlng, Town Line Road, and 2:30 from St. Peter's Lutheran Church, North Ridge, Rev. Carl Oldach officiating. Interment Shawnee Cemetery.

    Road.

    Mrs. Charles Hartgam of Ransomvllle,
    N. Y„ Mrs. William Enslnminger of
    Shawnee, N. Y., one step-daughter,
    Mrs. George Malfarth of Brooklyn,
    N. Y., also 16 grand-children and 13
    great grand-children. Funeral services
    wll he held from the home ot
    her son Frank Berg, Tuesday- afternoon,
    December 31st, a t 1 o'clock.
    Interment will be made in the German
    Lutheran Cemetery, Lockport,
    N. Y.
