Peter J. Blundy, 76, of 708
Pine Ave., died today. (March
20, 19S3) in Mount St. Mary's
Hospital shortly after being
admitted.
He was a native of Chippawa.
Ont., but had lived in
(this city for 74 years. He was
employed as a carpenter on
various construction projects
in the area for more than 30
years. He was last employed
by Wright and Kremers
Construction Co., from which
he retired 13 years ago.
Mr. Blundy was a member
of the United Brotherhood of
Carpenters and Joiners of
America Local 322.
Surviving are his wife, Jes-
sie; two sons, Peter G. and
Gerald P. Blundy, both of this
city; five daughters, Mrs.
Thomas Poulus, Mrs. Lee Pas-
quinelli, Mrs. Rod Files, Mrs.
John O'Donnell and Mrs.
Francis Markle Jr. all of this
city, and Mrs. Hugh Grady, of
Niagara Falls, Ont., and five
grandchildren.
Funeral services will be
held at the Rhoney Funeral
Home at 8:45 a.m. and at 9:30
a.m. at St. Mary's of the Cat-
aract Church.

Mrs. Angellne Blundy will celebrate
her eighty-fourth birthday tomorrow
at the home of her daughters, the
Misses Mary and Frances Blundy, of
348 Tenth street. Born in Germany,
Mrs. Blundy, who is the widow of the
late Nicholas Blundy, resided for a
few years in Buffalo, coming to this
city 48 years ago. She has been a
member of St. Mary's of the Cataract
church for 48 years.
Mrs. Blundy is the mother of nine
children, the following eight of whom
are living: Mrs, Hugh-.Grady. of
Haileybury, Ont.; Mrs. Katherlne
Argy, of this city; Mrs. Michael Dowd,
of Detroit, Mich.: Mrs. Virgil Manchester,
of this city; the Misses Mary
and Frances Blundy of this city; Paul
Blundy. of New York City, and
Peter Blundy, of this city.
