Husband of the late Mary (nee Lewin) McClure; dearest father of Pauline (Larry) Mundier, Richard (Lori), Randall (Eileen), Carole (George) Opera, Patricia Chowning, Marilyn (Scott) Kibat, Warren, Roger, Russell, William (Linsey) and the late Pamela O'Brien; proud grandfather of 20 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren ;brother of Robert (Sharon) and predeceased by brothers and sisters; longtime companion of Dorothy Proksch; also survived by nieces and nephews. GERLDINE LEWINGeraldine (Eddy) Lewin, of Lewiston, died on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 in Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence. She was 89.She was born in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY on January 23, 1919, a daughter of the late George and Mary (Murphy) Eddy. She attended area schools.Mrs. Lewin enjoyed crocheting, bingo and being with her family.Survivors include four children: Elizabeth Harvey (Floyd) of Pekin, Niagara County, NY, Bernadine Stahlman (Gary) of Hilton, NY, Edwin Lewin, Jr. (Mary) of Lockport, Edith H. Hildebrandt (Gary) of Lewiston, Niagara County, NY; a son-in-law, Warren McClure; a sister, Mary Eddy; 30 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Edwin B. Lewin in 1994; two children: Mary McClure and Robert Lewin and siblings, William Eddy, Leo Eddy, Harold Eddy, Irene Eddy, George Woodrow Eddy, Paul Eddy and John Eddy.Friends may call Friday from 4-8 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, where funeral services will be held Saturday 9:30 AM with the Rev. Sebastian Pierro officiating. The interment will be in Riverdale Cemetery. Flowers are graciously declined, memorials if desired, may be made to a charity of one's choice.

Funeral services for Mrs. Edith
R. Lewin, 69, of Escarpment Dr.,
Town of Lewiston, will be held tomorrow
at 2 p.m. at the Redanz-
Funeral Home and at 2:30 o'clock
at St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
Lewiston.
Mrs. Lewin died Saturday after
a two years' illness. A native of
England, she had resided in this
city and vicinity for 38 years.
She was the wife of Benjamin
Lewin; mother of Edwin B. Lewin,
both of Escarpment Dr.,. and Mrs.
John Kew, this city; sister of Joseph
Harris, Kenmore; Robert Harris,
this city; Mrs. Maude Rubeck, Buf-
falo, Mrs. Thomas Cinch, Means-
ville, Ont.; Mrs. dorothy Hender-
son, Detroit, and Miss susan Harris,
Grand Rapids, Mich. Surviving also
are a sister in England and seven
grandchildren.
The Rev. James E. Wells will
officiate at the services tomorrow.
Burial will be in Oakwood Ceme-
tery.
