87. of 14E Adrean Terr., died Monday in
St Luke's Memorial Hospital Center
after a brief illness
Born in Cropani, Province of Catenzaro.
Italv. the daughter of Antonio and
Theresa Ruffo Rocco. she came to this
country and to
Utica 'in 1901 She
married Frederick
Brindisi in Utica in
1906, He died here
in 1957 Mrs. Brin-
disi was a member
of the Parkway Se-
nior Citizens and a
communicant of St
Agnes Church
She leaves two
daughters. Mrs Jospeh
(Theresa)
Tropea and Mrs Richard
(Rose) Clair, both of Utica:
three sons, Rosario (Rusty). Salvatore
(Sam), both of Utica. and Anthony
(Shimp), Deerfield; a son. Benny, died
in 1975; also surviving are seventeen
grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren;
and several nieces and nephews
The funeral will be held Thursday at
8:30 am. from the Matt Funeral Home
and at 9 a m. in St. Agnes Church where
a mass of Christian Burial will be cele-
brated. Interment will be in Calvary
Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday
and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 at the
Matt Funeral Home, 700 Rutger St. at
Mohawk St.
