Formerly of Sanborn, NY, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2017, in the M.M Ewing Continuing Care Center, Canandaigua, NY. She was born in Ransomville, NY, on May 28, 1918, a daughter of the late Howard M. and Bertha B. (Adams) Myers. Mrs. Treichler graduated from Wilson High School in 1935 and in 1936 she married the late C. Lloyd Treichler, who passed away in September of 2000.
In 1946, they moved from Ransomville to Sanborn and they opened Aunt Jennie's Dairyette at their home on the corner of Saunders Settlement and Buffalo Street in Sanborn in the 1960's. Jennie loved ice cream and often joked she was her best customer! She lived a wonderful life with her hero and best friend, and we knows she is with him again.
Mrs. Treichler is survived by two sons Charles L. (Karen) Treichler and David H. (Karen) Treichler, two daughters Judy A. (late Fred) Pratz and Rita M. (Richard) Cronise, eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, also many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was the mother of the late Karen I. Treichler, grandmother of the late Ian T. Treichler and sister of the late John and Melvin Myers and Etta Davis Newman.
Her family will be present on Thursday from 7-9 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will be held on Friday at 12:00 PM, with the Rev. Matthew Kofahl officiating.
Memorials may be made in her name to the "Make A Wish" fund at the M.M. Ewing CCC, 350 Parrish St., Canandaigua, NY 14424.
Interment in Acacia Park Cemetery, Town of Pendleton, NY.

RANSOMVILLE, June 17. - The
marriage of Miss Jennie Elizabeth
Myers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard
Myers, of the Foster road, and
Charles Lloyd Treichler, of Sanborn
will take place Saturday afternoon at
4 o'clock, daylight saving time, at
Adams and Myers lake.
Miss Myers has been feted at numerous
showers this month. On Saturday
afternoon, Miss Mildred B.
Brady entertained at a green and
ivory kitchen shower at her home
In honor of Miss Myers.
The house was prettily decorated
with baskets of pink roses and blue
iris. Games were played during the
afternoon, prizes being awarded.
A luncheon was served at 5 o'clock,
at a long table attractively centered
with a low bowl of pink roses flanked
by blue tapers in pink holders.
The guests Included the Misses Jean
Wilson, Phyllis Chapman and Eleanor
Hinchcliff, of Wilson; Jean Bowers,
Mildred Stover and Katherine
Mayer, of Sanborn; Helen Reed and
Geraldlne Nevlnger, of Niagara Falls;
Ruth Moore, Frances Benedict and
Jennie Myers of this village.
Miss Pearl Adams, of Kenmore, entertained
in honor of Miss Myers'
birthday on Thursday, at her home.
A one o'clock luncheon was served
after which bridge was enjoyed.
Miss Myers attended a luncheon
given by Miss Bertha Cudaback, at
the Marigold Tea room, Niagara Falls,
on Friday.
