    Albert Burroughs, about 45 years
    of age, husband of Mrs. Josephine
    Burroughs,- Ellicottville Public
    Health Nurse, and cousin of Mabel
    Burroughs of Jamestown, formerly
    of this village, died suddenly while
    on a hunting trip at Parkers Landing, Pa.,
    Wednesday.
    Besides his widow and cousin, he
    leaves three children; his mother,
    Mrs. Mary Burroughs of Fredonia;
    emrsisiter, Miss Mayfred Burroughs
    of Bradford ,and one-brother, William
    Burroughs of Pittsburgh, Pa.
    Funeral services were held Saturday
    morning-from the home of Mrs.
    Burroughs parents, Mr. and Mrs.
    Thomas Briody in Olean, at 8:30
    and from St. Mary of the Angels
    church, at 9 o'clock. Burial was in
    St. Bonaventure cemetery

    The marriage of. Miss Josephine
    Briody, daughter of Mr. and Mrs..
    Thomas Briody of Olean, to Albert F.
    Burroughs of Fredonia took place in
    St. Mary's Church, Olean, on Satur-
    day morning, December 27th, the cere-
    mony being performed by Rev. Fr.
    Rengle. The bride was attended by
    her sister, Miss Elizabeth Briody of
    Washington, D.C., and the groom by
    his brother, William Burroughs of Fre-
    donia.
    After their return from their wed-
    ding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Burroughs will
    take up their residence in Fredonia.
    The bride has been on the staff of
    Brooks Memoria Hospital for four
    years and was supervisor of nurses
    there for a time.
