of Mrs. Josephine Bristol of 24
Lincoln Street, became the bride of
Francis Joseph Ryan, son of Timothy
Ryan of 19 Augusta Street in a
pretty wedding service conducted by
Rev. Paul Gaffney at'the Holy Family
Church this morning.
Miss Frances E. Potter was bridesmaid.
William A. Synnott acted as
best man. A large crowd of friends
attended the services and enjoyed
the special music program arranged
for the occasion. Solos were sung
by Mrs. Arthur Havens and Miss
Annabelle Doyle. Miss Alice Han-
Ion presided at the organ.
The bride was charming in a powder
blue gorgette dress enhaunced
with a hat to match and a large
bouquet of yellow tea roses. Her
gown was trimmed with orchid and
she wore blonde colored slippers and
stockings.
The bridesmaid was dressed in
pink gorgette with hat to match. She
carried an exquisite bouquet of pink
tea roses.
Following the ceremony a wedding
breakfast and reception was
held at Schoeffel's. The couple left
for an extended wedding trip to
Washington, Virginia and other
points of interest along the Atlantic
seaboard. After August 15 the couple
will be at home to their many
friends at 102 University Avenue,
Rochester, the groom presenting hie
bride with a completely furnished
house as a wedding present. A num«
ber of parties have been given the
bridesmaid during the past few
weeks.
