    Home, Hoover Road. Sanborn, for Mrs.
    Irene B. Blount, 83. the daughter of
    pioneer settlers in Niagara County.
    Mrs. Blount, who resided at 547
    Meadow Drive. North Tonawanda for
    the past 13 years, died yesterday in
    DeGraff Memorial Hospital. She had
    moved to North Tonawanda after
    residing in Sanborn for 35 years.
    Survivors include two children. Earl
    F. Blount and Mrs. Lewis Miller, both
    of Ohio, two sisters, four grandchildren
    and one great-grandson.
    Mrs. Blount's parents, the late Earle
    and Emma Britton were pioneer
    settlers in Niagara Falls.

    Irene married BLOUNT, Frederick about 1913. Frederick was born about 1890 in Canada; and died. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    SANBORN - Earle Britton. 88,
    of Ward Road, a retired farmer,
    died Sunday at the Niagara Sanatorium
    after a long Illness.
    Mr. Britton was born In Lewiston,
    Dec. 14, I860, the son of the
    late Samuel and Nancy Ann Rom
    mel Britton. For many years he
    operated a bicycle store on Main
    Street, Niagara Falls. Later he
    ran a garage and auto sales rooms
    at Niagara and Uth Sts.. the Falls
    He had lived here for the past
    33 years.
    He Is survived by one son, Samuel
    E. Britton. Town of Niagara,
    a stepson. Harry Robinson of Niagara
    Falls; three daughters.
    City Mrs. Lulu Packer. Los Angeles,
    Mrs. Irene Frances Blount of San
    born, Mrs Edna Schweitzer of Niagara
    Falls, one brother. Frank
    Britton, Buffalo; a sister, Mrs
    Alice Fieldius, Miami. Fla. There
    are 18 grandchildren, 35 great
    grandchildren and one great great
    grandchild.
    Services will be held tomorrow
    at 2 o'clock in the Pike F.ineral
    Home with the Rev John K Wick
