AUGUST BRIDE-ELECT: The engagement and forthcoming
marriage of their daughter. Ifiss Helcnp Mary Houdina, to
Warren A. Brock, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Brock, 72 Long:-
Ave., is announced by the future bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs.
John Houdina, 19 Loretta St. The wedding is planned for Aug.
24 in St. Francis of Assisi Church.

Brock, 72 Longs Ave.
The Rev. John Zuck performed
the ceremony Aug. 24, before an
altar decorated with baskets of
white gladioli and pompons.
The bride's gown was designed
with a lace over satin bodice with
scoop neckline and long pointed
sleeves. The bouffant tulle skirt
was appliqued with Chantilly lace.
A beaded crown held her illusion
veil and she carried a cascade
bouquet of white roses.
Miss Mary Enid Sauberan was
maid of honor. The bridesmaid
was Miss Barbara Tripi, and Miss
Mary Jane Houdina was the flower
girl. Their dresses were aqua net with
square necklines trimmed in lace
and satin bows at the back. The
maid of honor carried a cascade
of red rose buds, the bridesmaid,
yellow roses, and the flower girl
carried a basket of yellow flowers.
Donald Brock was the best man
and Bruce Fernandez the usher.
For her daughter's wedding,
Mrs. Houdina chose a pink lace
dress over satin with white ac-
cessories. Mrs. Brock selected a
navy blue dress with navy acces-
sories. Both mothers wore pink
and white rose corsages.
A buffet-style supper was served
in Ukrainian Hall for 300 guests.
Out of town guests were from Clif-
ton, N.J.
After a trip to Washington, At-
lantic City and New York, Mr.
and Mrs Brock are at home in
158 Fletcher St.
Hostesses at prenuptial parties
for the brid were Mesdames
John Mester, Frank Weidemann,
Albert Brock, Robert Brenon, and
the Misses Sauberan and Tripi.
