The marriage of Miss Alberta
Hahn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Harry Hahn of 1323 Sherwood avenue
to Covert Brock, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Albert Brock of 1217 Sherwood
avenue took place Saturday,
August third at four o'clock. The
ceremony, which took place in the
North Tonawanda Church of Christ,
was performed by the Rev. C. E.
Rostofer. The church was attractively
decorated with garden flowers.
The bride, who was given in
marriage by her father, were a
gown of white satin made on princess
lines with a low neckline and
satin orange blossoms on the shoulder.
Her cap-shaped veil which
fastened under the chin, was trimmed
with pearls and orange blossoms.
She carried an arm bouquet
of bridal roses and Baby Breath
and was tied with white tulle.
Min Alice Shlngledecker of Bellevue,
New York, was maid of honor
in a pink taffeta gown, with matching
satin slippers and picture hat,
white elbow-length gloves and an
arm bouquet of pink roses and
Baby Breath, tied with pink tulle.
Miss Norma Walp, bridesmaid,
wore blue taffeta and matching picture
hat, white slippers and gloves
and an arm bouquet of yellow roses
and Baby Breath, tied with blue
tulle.
Harold Ohmes, cousin of the
groom was best man and Carl Meyers,
usher
Mrs. Hahn, mother of the bride
was gowned in peach georgette and
the groom's mother, Mrs. Albert
Brock, wore flowered chiffon. Both
wore shoulder, corsages of pink
roses. Baby Breath and delphinium.
Following the ceremony, which
was attended by a number of relatives
and friends of the couple, a
wedding supper was served in the
church dining room to forty guests.
Th,e bride.'s table was laid for
twelve, centered with a wedding
cake, and floral baskets for decoration.
Pink and white baskets of
candy wore favors.
Mr. and Mrs. Brock left for a
wedding trip to the Adirondack
Mountains and the Thousand Islands.
The bride's traveling costume
consisted of a white linen
suit and matching accessories.
Pre-nuptial affairs held in honor
of the bnde were a linen shower,
given by Mrs. Mame Ohmes and
her daughter Georgia and a variety
shower by Mrs. Harry Hahn.
