John Anthony Assimotos entered into rest May 25, 2015 at Medina Memorial Hospital. Born in Lockport on April 8, 1921 he was the son of Anthony and Bessie Assimotos. John has been married to the former Mary Thersa Hoenig for over 50 years. He retired from Harrison Radiator as an electrician.

Beloved husband of Mary Theresa Assimotos. Beloved father of John Christopher Assimotos. Dear brother of the late Lt. Col. Sammuel Assimotos.

Born June 28, 1926 she was the daughter of Ralph and Josphine(Braun) Hoenig. Mary Graduated from St. Josephs Academy, was a life long member of St. Patricks Church and All Saints Parish. She worked for many years at Manufactures & Traders Trust Company.
Mary was Predeceased by her beloved husband John A. Assimotos. Beloved Mother of John C. Assimotos. Dear sister of the late Robert Hoenig.

HOENIG - Josephine A.
(Braun), widow of the late
Ralph J., of 390 Prospect St.,
passed away suddenly Oct. 31,
1972 at Lockport Memorial
Hospital. She is survived by one
daughter, Mrs. John (Mary
Theresa) Assimotos and one
son, Robert J.; also one sister,
Sister Canisia of Sisters of St.
Mary of Namur; also one
grandson, and nieces and
nephews. She is the sister of
the late Leo and Francis Braun.
Friends may call at the Lange
Funeral Home, 186 East Ave.,
beginning Wednesday evening
(Nov. 1) 7-9 and Thursday from
2-4 and 7-9, where funeral
services will be held Friday
morning (Nov. 3) at 8:30 and
9 o'clock at St. Patrick's
Church. Interment will be in St
Patrick's Cemetery. The Holy
Rosary will be recited at 8
o'clock Thursday evening
