Allen was a former employee of Frontier Hydraulics, a member of the Loyal Order of Moose #370, East Aurora, and the N.R.A. He enjoyed the farm, hunting, fishing, gardening, cooking and work. Beloved husband of Ruth Ann (nee Brown) Ziehm of Cheektowaga and the late Susan (nee Eadie) Ziehm. Dear father of James (Brandi Garbinsky) Ziehm, Sandy (Frank Camp) Ziehm and Robert (Rosemary) Ziehm. Step father of Jeanne (Randy) Woods and William Clerici. Brother of Herbert “Skeeter” Ziehm of Atlanta, GA and the late Joann Ziehm.     March 2 for the marriage of Miss
    Susan M. Eadie of Kenmore and
    Allen H. Ziehm of North Tonawanda.
    The Rev. Lynn Stanley
    Bugbee officiated at the 3 p.m.
    ceremony.
    The bride is the daughter of
    Mr. and Mrs. James B. Eadie of
    44 Kinsey Ave., Kenmore. Mr.
    Ziehm is the son of Mrs. Joseph-
    ine Woods of 787 Pioneer Drive
    and Herbert Ziehm of Niagara
    Falls.
    The bride's dress combined a
    bodice of lace, fashioned with
    short sleeves, and a peau de soie,
    street-length skirt. She wore a
    small hat and miniature veil and
    white gloves and carried a bou-
    quet of white roses.
    Miss Rose Mary Eadie, maid a/
    honor ior her sister, wore a
    street-length dress of peacock
    blue sarin with a matching hat.
    She carried red and white roses.
    Robert Krehan of North Tonawanda
    was the best man.
    The bride's mother wore a blue
    print dress with matching hat and
    the bridegroom's mother chose a
    green wool dress and matching
    accessories. Camellia corsages
    complemented their costumes.
    A reception was given in Ad-
    ams Fire Hall. Mr. and Mrs.
    Ziehm are at home in 248 Bry-
    ant St., North Tonawanda.

    THE TONAWANDAS — Josephine Woods, age 94, of the Tonawandas, October 31, 2011 in DeGraff Skilled Nursing after a brief illness. Josephine was a former president of Forever Young, she had volunteered at DeGraff Memorial Hospital for 40 years and loved bowling, baking and swimming.

    She was the wife of the late Herbert Ziehm and Robert Woods; beloved mother of Allen (Ruth Ann) Ziehm of Cheektowaga, Herbert (Nora) Ziehm of Atlanta, GA. and the late Joann Ziehm.; mother-in-law of Mark Ziehm of Wheatfield; grandmother of James (Brandy), Sandy, Robert (Elaine), Kathy, Steven (Wanda), and Jenny, great-grandmother of eight great-grandchildren; sister of Donald (Dorothy) Sullivan of Cheektowaga; aunt of many nieces and nephews; very special friend of Ralph Gademski.

    Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10 AM from the St. Francis Chapel, 73 Adam St., Tonawanda. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to DeGraff Skilled Nursing.
