    of 406 Burt Circle, Lewiston,
    died Monday (Feb. 2, 1970) at
    Mount St. Mary's Hospital,
    where she had been a patient
    for three weeks. She had been
    ill for several weeks.
    Mrs. Voelker was born Dec.
    1, 1926 in Niagara Falls,
    daughter of the late John and
    Elizabeth Krauser. She had
    been a receptionist in the office
    of Dr. A. L. Bax in Niagara
    Falls. She was a member of
    Lewiston Fire Co. No. 1
    Women's Auxiliary and Messiah
    Lutheran Church, Lewiston.
    Mrs.Voelker is survived by
    her husband, Howard L.
    Voelker; a son, David A
    Voelker at home; a brother,
    Earl Krauser of Lewiston and
    a sister, Mrs. R i c h a rd
    (Frances) Butler, of Niagara
    Falls.
    Funeral services will be held
    at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the
    Hardison Funeral Home,
    lewiston, with the Rev. Milan
    vSlahor, pastor of the Messiah
    Lutheran Church, officiating
    Burial will be in Riverdale
    Cemetery.
    Friends may call at the
    funeral home from 7 to 0 p.m
    Wednesday and 2 to 5 and 7
    to 9 p.m. Thursday.
    Memorial contributions may
    be made to the M e s s i ah
    Lutheran Church, the family
    said.

    The Voelkers have two

    a pioneer Niagara county family,
    died In Memorial hospital this
    morning.
    Bom In the town of Wheatfleld,
    Mr. Voelker came to Niagara Falls
    as a child and lived here since. He
    was employed for 40 years as a foreman
    at the plant of the Aluminum
    Company of America, retiring ten
    years ago. He was a member of
    Bellevue Lodge, No. 316, I. O. O. F.,
    and the Young Men's club of Zlon
    Evangelical Lutheran church. He
    was also a member cf the Aluminum
    company's 25-Year club.
    Surviving him are five sons,
    Chester A., Mllford Roy. Lawrence
    E. Marvin E. and Frederick W.
    Voelker. Jr. a brother. William
    Voelker. of the Saunders Settlement
    roAd. and four sisters. Mrs. Augusta
    Schweitzer, of this city; Mrs.
    Georglana Sattleberg. of Youngstown:
    Miss Emma Voelker, of the
    Saunders Settlement road, and Mrs.
    Margaret Mulvey, In California.
    Eleven grandchildren also survive.
    The funeral will be held from
    the family home at 2 p.m. Thurs-
    day with services at Zion Evangelical
    Lutheran church, Michigan avenue
    and Tenth street, at 2:30 p.m.
    Burial will be in Riverdale ceme-
    tery.

    HERMAN FRYE DIES
    Widely Known Pierce Avenue Man, Former Youngstown Farmer, Passes
    Herman C. Frye, of 2232 Pierce avenue, died in Memorial hospital yesterday afternoon following an operation. He was admitted to the hospital Wednesday night.
    Mr. Frye, who was 75 years old, was a native of Germany. He had lived in the United States for the past 51 years and formerly operated a farm at Youngstown. He came to Niagara Falls 24 years ago and had been employed as a janitor by the Spirella company for the past 18 years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bertha Frye; eight daughters, Mrs. Elsie Voleker (sic). of Bergholtz, Mrs. Matie Seymour, of Buffalo, Mrs. Hilda Hickox, of New Kensington, Pa., and, Mrs. Lydia Voelker, Mrs. Esther Nassoiy, Mrs. Elmina Krauser, Mrs. Cecelia Mang and Mrs. Lonie Livingston, of this city; and four sons, Arnold R., of Poughkeepsie, Herman W., of Detroit, and Reinhart B. and Solomon H., of this city. A sister and a brother in Germany and 37 grandchildren, and one great grandchild also survive.
    The funeral will be held from the family home at 2:30 p. m. Sunday, with services at Zion Lutheran church at 3 p. m. Burial will be in North Ridge cemetery.
