    Doris Irene Jones, 79, of Spencer, died Saturday, April 16, 2011, in the Roane General Hospital, Spencer, after an extended illness. She was born October 31, 1931, in North Tonawanda, NY, a daughter of the late Elmer Albert and Irene Christine Milliman Brodfuehrer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Helen Burngasser; three brothers, Richard, Raymond and James Brodfuehrer. She was a homemaker, a member of the Roane General Hospital Auxiliary and the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Spencer. Also, she was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Survivors include one son, Donald Jones of Spencer; two daughters and son-in-law, Cynthia and James Lyons of Spencer and Teresa Richardson of Spencer; two sisters, Roselle Brodfuehrer and Ruth DiVirgilio; one brother, Charles Brodfuehrer; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A service will be held Monday, April 25 at 11:00 a.m. in the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Spencer, with Rev. Fr. Tom Chacko as celebrant.

    class, of Phoenix, Ala.
    The bride was given in marriage
    by her father. She wore a white
    brocaded nylon dress with an illusion
    neckline and a small white
    lace hat and carried pink roses on
    a prayer book.
    Miss Patricia Franks, the bride's
    only attendant, wore a light blue
    nylon dress with white accessories
    and a corsage of red roses. Norbert
    Dauphin, H. M., attended the
    bridegroom as best man.
    The mother of the bride wore a
    gray suit with black accessories
    and a corsage of pink roses.
    Following the ceremony, a wedding
    dinner was served at the Dinner
    Bell Restaurant, Bethesda,
    Maryland. For her wedding trip to
    New York City the bride wore a
    tan suit with brown accessories
    and a corsage o! pink roses.
    In addition to the bride's parents
    those attending the wedding
    were her two sisters, Mrs. Jerome
    Bumgasser and Miss Ruth Brodfuehrer
    and her brother and his
    wife. Mr. and Mrs. James Brodfuehrer.
    The bride served as a WAVE in
    the Medical Center at Bethesda.

    Henry L. Brodfuehrer, 84, of 400
    Spruce St. died this morning in
    his home after a prolonged illness.
    Born in Buffalo, he had resided
    in North Tonawanda the
    past 50 years. He is survived by
    four sons, Henry L. Jr., Elmer,
    John and Jacob; two daughters,
    Mrs. Harold Kropp and Miss Roselle
    Brodfuehrer, all of North
    Tonawanda; 14 grandchildren, two
    great grandchildren and a brother,
    Joseph of Buffalo. Rites will be
    held Saturday at 10:45 a.m. from
    the residence and at 11:15 from
    the Ascension Church. The Rev.
    J. Frankenburger, S. J., of Buffalo
    will officiate. Burial will be
    in Mt. Olivet.

    North Tonawanda, Oct. 27-Mrs.
    Louise E. Brodfuehrer, 66 years old,
    died today at her home, 166 Spruce
    Street, after a long illness. She was
    born in Buffalo and had lived in
    North Tonawanda 32 years.
    Mrs. Brodfuehrer is survived by
    her husband, Henry J.; two daughters,
    Miss Roselle Brodfuehrer and
    Mrs. Harold Kropp; four sons, Henry
    J., Jr., Elmer, Jonn and Jacob;
    twelve grandchildren, all of North
    Tonawanda; three sisters, Mrs.
    Frank Vogel, Buffalo; Mrs. Lawrence
    Brodfuehrer. Blasdell, and
    Mrs. Elizabeth Sheppard, Williamsville,
    and a brother, Jacob Young,
    Buffalo.
    The funeral will be held at 8.30
    o'clock Monday at the home and
    half an hour later at the Ascension
    Church. The Rev. Daniel Malloy
    will officiate and burial will be in
    Mt. Olivet Cemetery

    NORTH TONAWANDA, Dec. 26 - Mrs. Caroline C. Milliman, nee Donner, 59 years old, died yesterday at her home, 137 Linwood avenue, following a stroke suffered three weeks ago. She was born in Wheatfield and had resided in this vicinity all her life.
    She is survived by her husband Frank' eght daughters, Helen, Loretta and Dorothy, Mrs. Elma Brodfuehrer, Mrs. Edward Bishop, Mrs. William Thelan and Mrs. Ray Benz, all of this city, and Mrs. Charles Heinmiller, of Kenmore; four sons Frank, Jr., Jacob, George and William, all of tis city; 24 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Martin Liddel, of Burt, and Mrs. Hannah Hoffman, of Lockport; three brothers, Lawrence Donner, of Wheatfield, Jacob Donner, of this city, and Joseph Donner, of Lockpprt.
