Obituary of David Reimer Sr.

David A. Reimer Sr., 75 of Youngstown, NY, husband of the late Margaret Rudy Reimer entered into rest on Wednesday November 14, 2018 in the Newfane Rehabilitation & Health Care Center Newfane, NY. Born in Duluth, MN on June 04, 1943 he was the son of the late Harold and the late Maude Wagner Reimer. He and the former Margaret Rudy married on September 01, 1962. Dave was a Tool and Die Setter retiring from General Motors(Harrison Radiator) in 1998 after 35 years. He was an avid hunter and cat lover, he enjoyed traveling, wood working and camping at Lazy Lakes. Dave was a member of the Wilson Conservation Club and was a past president of the club.
He is survived by his children Denise (Michael) Florio of Lockport, David (Cherilyn) Reimer Jr. of Youngstown and Day (Robert) Scrivani of Machias; a sister Judy Tronbley of Wyoming; 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Dave is predeceased by a son Douglas Reimer and his brothers Rick and Harold Reimer.

Margaret L. Reimer, age 68 of Youngstown died Friday June 5, 2015 at her residence while under the loving care of her family and Niagara Hospice.Margaret was born July 17, 1946 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late Oliver and Margaret (Curtiss) Rudy. She married David A. Reimer on September 1, 1962 and they have resided in Youngstown the past 50 years. Margaret was an Assembly Line Worker, employed by GM Harrison Radiator/Delphi in Lockport for 25 ½ years, retiring in 2001.She loved baking, crocheting, needlepoint, and her pet cats. She especially loved new adventures and camping in their motor home. Margaret's greatest love was spending time with her family.She is survived by her husband, David A. Reimer; her children Denise (Michael) Florio of Lockport, David (Cherilyn) Reimer, Jr. of Youngstown, and Day (Robert) Scrivani of Machias, NY; her grandchildren, Amy, Laura, Derek, Chris, Kevin, Doug, Dave, Ashley, Ryan, Nathan, and Jason; eight great grandchildren; her sisters, Anna (Jim) Beaton of Niagara Falls, NY, Helen (Howard) Mt. Pleasant, of Lewiston, and Rose (Robert) Thaler of Youngstown; a step brother, Albert (Sue) Ball of Niagara Falls, NY; her mother in law, Maude Reimer of Olcott; a sister in law, Nancy Rudy of Youngstown. She was predeceased by a son, Douglas Reimer in 1989, and a brother, Oliver Rudy, Jr. Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Thursday from 4 - 8 pm and Friday, June 12, from 11:00 - 1:00 pm. A Memorial Service will begin at 1:00 PM in the funeral home, with the Rev. Charles Lamb officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094.

Harold + WAGNER, Maude A. Maude (daughter of WAGNER, William and WITHERS, Elsie) was born on 9 Jan 1924 in Buffalo, Erie County, NY; died on 2 Jun 2018 in Lockport, Niagara County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Maude A. Reimer 94 of Newfane, wife of the late Harold J. Reimer entered into rest on Saturday June 2, 2018 at Elderwood of Lockport. Born on January 9, 1924 to the late William and Elsie Withers Wagner in Buffalo, NY. Maude worked at General Motor in Lockport, NY.

Surviving are her children; David Reimer and Judy (Jack) Trombley; her daughter in law's Karen Reimer and Beverly Reimer; 8 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Maude is predeceased by her son's Harold J. Reimer Jr. and Richard C. Reimer also 3 sisters and 2 brothers; a grandson Douglas Reimer and great granddaughter Tiffany Mars.
