    Miss Genevieve A. Costello of
    Lynn, Mass., and Bernie Bromka,
    son of Mr. and Mrs. John Bromka,
    of Romulus, were married in St.
    Mary's chapel at Lynn on Monday
    morning, September tod. Miss
    Kathertne Costello, sister of the
    bride, and Henry Bromka, brother
    of the groom, were the attendants.
    The bride, a graduate of Salem
    Teachers' College in Salem, Mass.,
    served for three years in the Marine
    corps. Mr. Bromka, who was
    graduated from the local Central
    School and Syracuse University,
    enlisted in the Seabees In August
    1943 and served in the Pacific. He
    was honorably discharged in May
    of this year with the rank of Ensign.
    Upon their return from a wedding
    trip in the New England
    States and the Adirondacks. Mr.
    and Mrs. Bromka will reside in
    Webster where the groom is employed
    as assistant superintendent
    of a firm having the contract for
    construction of a fifteen mile highway
    between Union Hill and Sodus.

    OVID - Funeral services for
    John Bromka, 71, of the Ovid-
    Romulus Rd., will be held at 9:30
    a. m. Monday at the home, and
    at 10 a. m, from Holy Cross
    Church, Ovid. The Very Rev.
    Monsignor Joseph Sullivan, pas
    tor of Holy Cross Church, will
    celebrate the funeral Mass. Interment
    will be at Holy Cross
    Cemetery, Ovid.
    Mr. Bromka died unexpectedly
    Friday at his farm home north of
    here, While cutting grass with a
    scythe. Death was attributed by
    a local physician to a heart at '
    tack.
    Born In Poland, he had lived
    in the Ovid and Romulus area for
    the peat 60 years. He was en-
    gaged in farming on the Ovid-
    Romulus Rd.
    Survivors are his widow, Hattie
    Flglerowicz Bromka; f i ve
    sons. Bernard, Rochester; Joseph,
    Romulus; Henry, Ovldr Alexander,
    Syracuse; John, North Tona-
    wanda; seven grandchildren.

    Mrs. Hattie Bromka. 67, of Bromka
    Rd., were at 9 a.m, Thursday
    in Holy Cross Church, Ovid, preceded
    by a prayer service at the
    John D. Covert Funeral Home,
    Ovid, at 8:30 a.m.
    Rev. Thomas Florack, Catholic
    chaplain at the Willard State Hospital,
    was celebrant of the funeral
    Mass.
    Bearers were Joseph Maleski.
    Stanley Brodnicki, Edward Kulesher
    Victor Skozes-
    ki and Ted Kokot.
