    The' marriage of Miss Dorothy
    Mae Royce, daughter of Mr. and
    Mrs. Warren Royce of Tonawanda,
    to Warren E. Brooks, son of Mr.
    and Mrs. Norris Brooks of 483
    Walnut St.. Lockport, was solemnized
    Jan. 7 at 12 Noon In St.
    Mark's Episcopal Church, the Rev.
    Bernard Campbell officiating at the
    double-ring ceremony.
    The bride, given in marriage by
    her father, wore a. white moire
    taffeta gown with a short train.
    Her bridal veil of tulle was arranged
    from a satin off-face headdress
    with orange blossoms. She
    carried an arm bouquet of white
    roses.
    The matron of honor, Mrs. Norman
    Bower of Lockport, wore pink
    taffeta with a net headdress and
    carried pink roses. The bridesmaids,
    the Misses Mildred Godfrey
    of Buffalo and Erma Miller of
    Tonawanda, wore green taffeta
    gowns with net headdresses. They
    carried arm bouquets of tea roses,
    tied with green. The flower girl.
    Patsy Happel of Buffalo, wore a
    peach taffeta Colonial dress and
    carried a Colonial bouquet.
    Ushers were Norman Bower and
    Stanley Walker. The groom was attended
    by Emory Wall of Lockport.
    A luncheon was held for the
    bridal party at Johnston's Tea
    Room, Buffalo, following the ceremony.
    A reception was held at the
    home of the bride's parents.

    BROOKS - Edith E. Brooks of
    493 Walnut Street passed away
    at Lockport Memorial Hospital,
    Monday afternoon, April 11,
    1966. She leaves her husband,
    J. Norris Brooks, one son, Warren
    E. Brooks, two grandsons,
    Wayne N. and W. Brian Brooks
    of Lockport, one sister, Mrs.
    Edna Meehan of Ft. Lauderdale,
    Fla., one brother, Herbert
    N. Smith of New Monmouth,
    N. J. and several nieces and
    nephews. Beginning Tuesday
    evening friends may call from
    2 to 4 and 7 to 9 o'clock at Prudden
    and Kandt Funeral Home,
    242 Genesee Street where funeral
    services will be held Thursday
    morning at eleven o'clock.
    Interment in Cold Springs Cemetery.

    One of the prettiest weddings of the
    season was that of Miss Kdlth Luckman
    of Jersey City. N. .1, to Norris J.
    Brooks of this city. The marriage was
    solemnised on the 30th day of June at
    the First Baptist church of West Hobokin,
    N. J. the Rev. C Newell, officiating

    The bride given in marriage by
    her Grandfather, wore a Paris creation
    of White Satin, and a bridal veil of
    silk embroidered flowers, In the folds of
    which nestled orange blossoms. The
    bride's attendant was her sister, Miss
    Edna Luckman, who was attired In
    peach satin with a hat to match. Both
    carried shower boquets, the bride's of
    white roses and the bridesmaid's of
    sweet peas.
    The church was beautifully decorated
    with garlands of flowers while around
    the altar rested palms. daisies and
    smilax. George C. Whitenack and Harry
    Symns were ushers, while little Herbert
    Smith led the bridal procession. William
    G Rost of Cincinnati, acted as bestman.
    Both groom and bestman served in the
    same ranks during the past war. The
    bride's only ornament was a diamond
    pin. the gift of the groom, while attendants
    were handsomely remembered.
    After a short honeymoon Mr. and
    Mrs. Brooks will reside temporarily at
    the home of the bride's parents, after
    which' they will depart for an Indefinite
    stay In this city, the home of the
    groom's parents.

    Frederick C. Brooks died at his
    home, No. 493 Walnut street, Mon-
    day morning, June 17, 1929. He is
    survived by his wife, two daughters,
    and one son, Mrs. May Wilson of
    Canada, Mrss Williams Cornell of
    Warsaw, N.Y. and Norris J. of this
    city. Funeral services will be held
    from the home on Wednesssday after-
    noon, June 19th, at 2:30 o'clock. In-
    terment in (Price) Cold Springs
    cemetery.

    Frederick C. Brooks, a native of
    Suffolk, England, but a resident of
    Lockport the past forty-five years.
    died this morning at the home of
    his son. Norris J. Brooks at 493
    Walnut street, following a long period
    of in health, heart disease and
    hardening of the arteries having
    caused hk death
    Seventy-seven years of age, he is
    survived by his widow and son of
    this city, and two daughters. Mrs.
    Thomas Wilson of Mildred. Saskatchewan,
    B. C. and Mrs. Edna
    Cornell of Warsaw, Wyoming county.
    Funeral services will be conducted
    Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock
    and burial will be to Cold Springs
    cemetery.
