    Mrs. Flora Shorten, a Gasport
    resident until moving to
    Woodhull, about two years ago,
    died Monday (Oct. 30, 1967) in
    Corning.
    Mrs. Shorten, 90, was born
    Flora Brownell, March 23, 1877,
    and had lived most of her life
    on Quaker Road in Gasport.
    She had been a member of the
    Quaker Road Methodist Church
    and its women's society for
    many years.
    Her husband, George Shorten,
    died about 18 years ago.
    Surviving Mrs. Shorten a re
    one daughter, Mrs. Luella Taft
    of Woodhull; three sons, Cecil
    of Barker, Carl of Middleport,
    and Burt of Lockport.
    She also leaves nine grandchildren,
    20 great - grandchildren
    and one brother, Roy
    Brownell of Gasport.
    Friends may call at the Hood
    Funeral Home In Barker from 2
    to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. where services
    will be held Thursday at
    2 p.m.
    Burial will be In Hartland
    Central Cemetery

    West Somerset. She is survived by five

    Mrs. William Eaton. West Somerset.
    Herbert Brownell, Lockport. Roy
    Brownell. Gasport. and Elmer Brownell
    of Buffalo, a sister. Mrs. Retta Ingersoll.
    of the Quaker road, and two brothers.
    John Mayne. Buffalo, and Dr H
    H. Mayne. Lockport. The funeral will
    be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock
    Standard time, from the home ofMr.
    and Mrs.. Eaton with burial in Hart-
    land Central cemetery.
