MIDDLEPORT - Dorothy T. Koepsel of Middleport died Feb. 7 at the Orchard Manor Nursing Home. Born Sept. 17, 1911, in Gasport, she was the daughter of Frank and Grace (Bruning) Koepsel. She was a homemaker and volunteered at Hilltop Nursing Home from 1976 to 1989. She enjoyed her family and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Wolcottsville. Survivors include a nephew, William (Cindy) Koepsel of Middleport; two grandnieces, Amy (Brian) Cranston of Medina and Sherry Koepsel of Brockport; and a great-great-nephew, Max W. Cranston of Medina. She was predeceased by a brother, Laverne Koepsel in 1986; and a niece, Patricia Koepsel in 1972. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St., Middleport. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Wolcottsville, with the Rev. Donald Willman officiating. Burial will be in Royalton Mount Ridge Cemetery.

Frank G. Koepsel, 84, of 10
Maple Ave., Middteport, a retired
school custodian, d i ed
Tuesday evening (June 7, 1966)
at Medina Memorial Hospital
where he had been a patient for
just a few days.
Born Aug. 26, 1881 in Akron,
he was the son of John and
Wilhelrnina Wolters Koepsel.
Mr. Koepsel was married to
|e+ie former Grace Bruning on
April 14, 1910 and the couple
has lived in the Middleport area
since that time.
Mr. Koepsel was employed
as custodian of the Middleport
school for 26 years, retiring 15
years ago. He was a member
of Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
Besides his widow, he is survived
by a son, LaVerne Koepsel
of Buffalo; one daughter,
Miss Dorothy Koepsel and a
sister, Mrs. Fred Tieffel, both
of Middleport; also two grandchildren.
Friends may call from 3 to 5
and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Wallace
& Heath Funeral Home, Inc.,
Middleport, where funeral services
will be conducted at 2 p.
m. Friday by the Rev. Gerald
J. Grimm.
Burial- will be In Royalton
Mountain Ridge Cemetery.

Monday, June 14, 1971 at the
Medina Memorial Hospital. She

The wedding of Miss Grace E.
Bruning, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. J. F. Bruning, of Middleport,
to Frank Keopsel, of Newstead,
was quietly solemnized
Thursday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock
Rev. Mr. Rovalt of Newstead officiating.
The bride was gowned in a
white lace and insertion Princess
and carried bride roses.
Her only sister, Clara M., of
Lockport, was brides maid. She
was gowned in pearl gray silk and
carried white roses. The eroom
was attended by Edward Ferris,
of Lockport.
Immediately after the ceremony
an elaborate dinner was served.
The tables being decorated with
carnations and smilax. The color
scheme was green and white.
The bridal party left in an auto
for Medina, where they boarded a
train for the east.
After a short trip Mr. and Mrs.
Keopsel will be at home a few
miles east of Lockport.

Lockport, Sept. 21-Mrs Stella
Rosella Koepsel, 94 years old, of Royal-
ton, died last evening at the home of
her daughter, Mrs. Henry Wickoff at
Wolcottsville. She is survived by three
daughters, one son and two brothers.
The funeral will be held Sunday after-
noon at 2 o'clock from St. Michael's
church. Burial will be in the Wol-
cottsville cemetery.
