    George G. Hinkson of Middleport passed away Sunday, October 4, 2015 at his home. Mr. Hinkson was born in Middleport on March 31, 1933 son of the late LaVerne and Pauline (Bell) Hinkson and he has lived in Middleport most of his life.

    He served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict and while in the navy he won the National Defense Medal. He and his wife, Doris (Tuttle) Hinkson, were married on July 18, 1953. He started Fairfield American Corp. in Middleport in l977 which later became the Bayer CropScience Company where he was the director of manufacturing. Mr. Hinkson enjoyed his family traveling with his company, remodeling his house and his children's houses and he enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, playing cards and watching sports on TV.

    He is survived by his wife, Doris M. Hnkson; five children, Rick (Rebecca) Hinkson of Middleport, Geoff (Shelli) Hinkson of North Carolina, Kevin (Helen) Hinkson of North Carolina, Ken Hinkson of Middleport and Yvonne Tobert of North Carolina. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and a sister, L. Jean Dubrian of Florida.

    Friends may call on Friday from 4-8 PM at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St., Middleport. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Middleport United Methodist Church with the Rev. James Knapp officiating. Burial will be in West Ridgeway Cemetery. Memorials to the Middleport United Methodist Church would be appreciated by the Hinkson family.

    George G. Bell, Jr., of Middleport,
    to La Verne Hinkson also of the
    same village took place Sunday
    afternoon at 4 o'clock in the Methodist
    Episcopal parsonage, Alabama,
    N. Y, Rev. Wilson officiating.
    Attendants were Mr. and Mrs.
    Harry Sterns.
    The bride was gowned in a nowred
    dress of blue crepe with fawn
    stockings. Her flowers were white
    rose buds.
    The bride's attendant wore an ensemble
    of tan, and carried a bouquet
    of spring flowers.
    Mr. and Mrs. Hinkson will take
    up residence in Mlddleport

    services for Mrs. Huldah Bell Lasal
    Banty, 63, Of 714 West avenue, Medina,
    who died yesterday at Medina
    Memorial hospital, will be held Wednesday
    at 2 p.m. at the Wallace and
    Heath Funeral home here. The Rev.
    George Bishop will officiate with
    burial in Royalton Mountain Ridge
    cemetery.
    Mrs. Banty was born at Clarence,
    daughter of John and Amelia Lasal.
    She spent most of her life in this
    vicinity but had lived In Medina
    the last three years.
    Surviving are her husband, Howard;
