    Notes:

    Howard Bruning passed away April 8, 2019 in Niagara Hospice House.  Born October 17, 1951 in Medina, he was the son of Clayton and Gladys (Waterstreet) Bruning.  Howard served in the US Army from 1969-1971 during the Vietnam War, while in service he was the recipient of the National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Air Medal, Army Commendation Medal and the Purple Heart.  He worked for Harrison Radiator starting in 1972 where he was a tool & die maker retiring in 2007.  He was a member of the Lockport Alliance Church and enjoyed studying God’s word, camping, sports, and especially loved spending time with his family.
    Howard is survived by his wife of 15 years, Nora (Bishop) Bruning; children Amanda (Bill) Pittman, Kristin (Jim Schaich) Jamieson, Aaron (Michelle), Eric Bruning, Denyel (Patrick Doty) Beiter, and Thomas (Grace Moser) Beiter; grandchildren Chelsey Jamieson, Andrew, Jacob Schaich, Kaitlin (Micah Leapaga), Hannah, Felicity Pittman, Alexis, Brett, Amber Bruning, Alana Bruning, and Benjamin Doty; siblings Donna (Mike Killion) Bruning and Roger Bruning; in-laws Matthew (Barbara) Bishop and Thomas Bishop; also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
    Relatives and friends may call Sunday, April 14th from 2-5 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  A funeral service with MIlitary Honors will be held Monday, April 15th at 10 AM in the Lockport Alliance Church, 555 Davison Rd., Lockport, NY 14094.  Interment will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations to Niagara Hospice or to the church would be appreciated.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.

    Gladys M. Bruning passed away December 11, 2017 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. Born November 13, 1932 in Royalton she was the daughter of Howard and Hilda (Baehr) Waterstreet. Gladys worked for Mount View Health Care Facility where she was a nurses aide retiring in 1999. She was an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, and also the Gasport Senior Citizens and Dale Association.
    Gladys is survived by her children Howard (Nora) Bruning, Roger Bruning, and Donna (Michael) Killion; grandmother of Amanda, Aaron, Kristin, Jennifer, Denyel, Tom, Zachary, Emma, and Eric; and thirteen great grandchildren; sister of the late Bernard Bruning and Dorothy Waterstreet.
    Friends may call Thursday, Dec. 14th from 4-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 15th at 11 AM in Immanuel Lutheran Church, 7147 Ridge Rd. Interment will be in Hartland Central Cemetery.     The marriage of Hilda Beahr. daughter
    of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Beahr,
    of Wolcottsville, to Howard Waterstreet,
    also of Wolcottsville, was
    solemnized Wednesday evening at
    the St. Micheal's Evangelical Lutheran
    church here. Rev. Frederick
    Schleef officiating.
    Palms and pink ribbons were used
    in the decorations of the church and
    the wedding march was played by
    during the ceremony.
    Kred Winters with "O Promise Me"
    The bride was gowned in white
    pussy willow taffeta over white
    satin with rhlnestone trimming. Her
    veil was embroidered and she carried
    a hower bouquet of bride
    roses and chrysanthemums. Miss
    Louise Altman of Middleport, as
    maid of honor, wore a gown of
    green crepe while the second attendant,
    Mrs. Millard Walter, wore
    a gown of white satin and each carried
    pink roses. Otto Beahr and
    Millard Walter attended the groom.
    The ushers were Harold Beahr and
    Ernest Shilling with Evelyn Beahr
    acting as flower girl. Both Mrs.
    Beahr and Mrs. Waterstreet, mothers
    of the bride and groom, wore
    costumes of brown silk crepe.
    Some 45 guests attended the reception
    which was held at the home
    of the bride where pink and white
    were used In the house decorations
    with sixteen seated at the bridal
    table.
    The groom's gift to the bride was
    a handsome leather purse and to
    his attendants bill folds while the
    bride presented spoons to her maid
    and matron.
    Guests were present from Middleport,
    Buffalo and Wolscottsvllle.
    Mr. and Mrs. Waterstreet will reside
    at the home of the bride's parents.

    F. Reabolt, died unexpectedly
    Sunday afternoon (Jan: 10,
    1960) at her home, 72 S. Main,
    St. She had been a patient at
    Deaconess Hospital, Buffalo,
    for the last five weeks and
    had returned home Saturday.
    Born Sept. 3, 1882, in the
    Town of Royalton, Mrs. Reabolt
    was a daughter of the
    late Fred and Ernestine Schmidt
    Eschenburg. She was a
    lifelong resident of this area
    and had resided in the village
    for the last 13 years.
    Mrs. Reabolt was a member
    of Holy Cross L u t h e r an
    Church. Her husband died in
    1947.
    Surviving are a son, Herbert
    Reabolt, Akron, N.Y., and five
    daughters, Mrs. Walter Bruning,
    Mrs. David Henninger,
    Miss Ruth Reabolt, Mrs. Elmer
    Miller and Mrs. Harry Chapman,
    all of this village. Ten
    grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren
    and several nieces
    and nephews also survive.
    Friends may call from. 2-5

    home, where services will be
    conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday

    Mrs Baehr Dies At 77
    MIDDLEPORT - Mrs. Helene Mietz Baehr, 77, of Wolcottsville, widow of Otto W. Baehr, died Sunday (Jan 31, 1960) at the home of her son, Herman B. Baehr, Lewiston Rd., where she had resided the last few months. She was born May 17, 1882, in Wolcottsville, a daughter of William and Marie Holtzheimer Mietz. She was a member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Wolcottsville, and had resided in this area all her life. In addition to her son, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Helene Gilbert. Middleport, Mrs. Hilda Bruning, Akron. N.Y.. and Mrs. John Leffler, West Shelby; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. A son, Otto R. Baehr. died several years ago. Friends may call at the Wallace & Heath Funeral Home from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. Services will be held at 1;30 pm Wednesday at the funeral home and at 2:30 at St Michael's Church, Wolcottsville. The Rev. Hilbert Huth will officiate. Burial will be in St Michael's Cemetery.
