    ELINOR MAE SIEGMANN, age 90 of Wheatfield, NY, was called peacefully to her heavenly home on September 9, 2018, while at the DeGraff Skilled Nursing Facility. Born on September 17, 1927 in Pennsylvania, and came to Western NY in 1945. She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Gladys (Jackson) Severance. She was united in marriage to Melvin E. Siegmann on August 12, 1950, and he entered into rest on March 20, 2002. Elinor was a long time member of St. John Lutheran Church, in Wheatfield, was employed as a nurse's aid at DeGraff Memorial Hospital, and enjoyed reading a variety of books. 
    Survivors include six children, Karen Chaffee, Gayle (John) Carmody, Laurie (Dennis) Schmidt, Eric (Lori) Siegmann, Andrew Siegmann, and Ross (Lisa) Siegmann; 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
    She was predeceased by four brothers, Howard, Gerald, Jay, and Frank Severance; and four sisters, Geraldine Zubrikis, Loretta Siegman, Betty Martin, and Darla Herstek.
    Friends may call at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, on Friday (September 14) from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Michael Borgstede, on Saturday (September 15) at 10:00 a.m. in St. John Lutheran Church, corner Niagara Falls Blvd. and Ward Road. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Niagara Hospice.

    Mary Ann Byington, of Niagara Falls, died on Monday, October 5, 2015 in Mount. St. Mary’s Hospital, following a brief illness. She was 74. She was born in Niagara Falls, New York on February 7, 1941, the daughter of the late James and Helen (Russell) Masterson. She was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School.
    On April 23, 1966, she married William Byington. Together they celebrated 49 years of marriage. She worked for Doctors Weppner Gillick and Klopper and retired from Dr. Ajitkumar T. Trivikram where she scheduled surgeries in 2001.
    Mary was a lifetime member of the Frontier Volunteer Fire Company’s Ladies Auxiliary, serving on its sick committee. She enjoyed playing bingo there on Monday nights and the occasional trip to the casino. She was a longtime member of St. Vincent de Paul Parish at Prince of Peace, working on a committee or two there.
    She is survived by her husband, Bill; a daughter, Lisa Siegmann (Ross) of Sanborn; two brothers, Brian Masterson (Sandra) of Pendleton; James Masterson (Sheila) of San Diego, CA; two grandsons, Tyler and Jacob Siegmann and three nieces.
    Friends may call SUNDAY 4:00-6:00 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday 11 AM in St. Vincent de Paul Parish at Prince of Peace site, 1055 Military Road, Niagara Falls. Please assemble at church. The interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorials, if desired, may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research.

    SIEGMANN – William C. Siegmann, 80, died Monday (Sept. 14, 1964) at his residence, 6668 Errick Road, Town of Wheatfield. He is survived by his wife, Martha (nee Jagow); three daughters, Mrs. Leo (Mildred) Witkop, Town of Wheatfield, Mrs. Carl (Erma) England of Sanborn and Mrs. Richard (Clarice) Poerschke of North Tonawanda; four sons, Harold of North Tonawanda and Melvin, Donald and Richard Siegmann of the Town of Wheatfield; 22 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Anna Jagow of the Town of Pendleton, and a brother, Henry Siegmann of the Town of Wheatfield. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Road, where services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Clarence W. Rabe will officiate. Interment in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.

    Martha A. Siegmann, 103, formerly of Errick Road, died Thursday (April 30, 1998) in Northgate Manor Nursing Home, where she had lived since 1985.
    A lifelong resident of Wheatfield, the former Martha A. Jagow was the oldest living member of St. John Lutheran Church.
    Mrs. Siegmann also was a member of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League and enjoyed baking and gardening. Her husband, William C., died in 1964.
    Survivors include four sons, Harold, Melvin, Donald.....a daughter, Clarice Poerschke; 25 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
    Services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Sunday in St. John Lutheran Church, Niagara Falls Boulevard and Ward Road. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
