    William D. ”Bill” Jordan, age 88, of Ransomville husband of the late Virginia Bonnett Jordan entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY. Bill was born on October 2, 1931 in Sinnemahoning, PA. He is the son of the late Durrell and the late Mary Zoschg Jordan. He married Virginia J. Bonnett on September 1, 1951 she predeceased him on October 10, 2015. Bill was employed by ALOX Co. Niagara Falls, NY as a Maintenance person. He enjoyed the outdoors, he was an avid fisherman, hunter and like to garden and spend time with him family and friends. Bill was a member of the NRA and the Immaculate Conception RC Church.Bill is survived by his children; Debra (Kenneth) Seabert, David (Rose) Jordan, Timothy (Dianna) Jordan, Christopher (Joy) Jordan, Michael (Karen) Jordan and Gregory (Kris) Jordan; his siblings Frances (Pat) DiLaura, Janice (Steve) Troxell, Joan Messier, Robert (Beth) Jordan and John (Sandy) Jordan. Also surviving are 14 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.He is predeceased by a son Keith Jordan; his sisters Marie Anderson and Ida Kennedy and a brother Matthew Jordan.Friends and family may call on SUNDAY from 1-5 PM at the HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES INC. 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville, NY 14131.     Obituary of Virginia Jordan Joan Jordan, age 84 of Ransomville, died Saturday October 10, 2015 in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, after a lengthy illness.Joan was born August 1, 1931 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late Elton and Virginia (Stamm) Bonnett. She was a lifelong resident of Ransomville and the Town of Cambria and was a 1947 graduate of Lockport High School. Joan married William D. Jordan on September 1, 1951. She enjoyed cooking and baking, especially for her family, spending time in her gardens with her flowers, and canning the veggies she grew. Joan mostly loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, William; a daughter, Debra (Kenneth) Seabert of the Town of Cambria; five sons, David (Mary) of San Antonio, TX, Timothy (Dianna) of Oklahoma, Christopher (Joy) Jordan of Lockport, Michael (Karen) of Ransomville, and Gregory (Kris) Jordan of Lockport; a brother, Robert (Lyla) Bonnett of Webster, NY; 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, several sisters and brothers in law, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Keith Jordan.Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 14, at 11:00 AM in the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Hoffman officiating.     seven-week illness.
    She was born
    in the Town of
    Newfane' a nd
    was a lifelong
    resident of the
    Ransomvil 1 e
    area. She was
    the widow of
    Henry Bonnett,, who died July
    their golden anniversary April
    8, 1953.
    Mrs. Bonnett was the daughter
    of the late Lewis and
    Rachel Schneider, area farmers.
    She would have been 76
    years old on June 20.
    For many years, she attended
    Wesleyan M e t h o d i st
    Church of Ransomville and,
    when it disbanded, went with
    her family to the Rivial Center
    Church, now called the
    First Assemblies of God,
    Hyde Park Boulevard, Niagara
    Falls.
    She is survived by four
    daughters and six sons, Mrs.
    Rose Granter and Mrs. James
    Griffiths, Niagara Falls; Mrs.
    Emil Kemp, Buffalo; Mrs.
    Virgil Neadow, Ransomville;
    Elton, Charles and Daniel
    Bonnett, Moore Road. Ransomville;
    Benjamin Bonnett,
    Sanborn; Leonard Bonnett,
    Clarence Center; and Andrew
    oBnnett, Lockport.
    Other survivors are a sister,
    Mrs. Glen Cook. Akron, N.Y.;
    a brother, Lewis Schneider,
    Mlddleport; 27 grandchildren,
    11 great grandchildren and
    17 nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services will be
    conducted at 2 p.m. Monday
    at the Gentle Funeral Parlors,
    Main Street, Ransomville, by
    Rev. Albert Fischer. Burial
    will be in North Ridge Cemetery.

    Mrs. Louise Van Amburgh, 42 years
    old, 622 Fifteenth street, was fatally
    Injured late yesterday afternoon when
    she was. struck by an automobile
    driven by Walter H. Pearl, 340 Seventh
    street, while crossing Pine avenue,
    near Thirteenth street. She was
    taken to Memorial hospital but was
    dead upon arrival.
    Pearl reported to police that Mrs.
    Van Amburgh ran from behind a
    parked car directly Into the path of
    his automobile. He said that at the
    time he was driving at a slow rate of
    speed and that his young son, who
    was in the car with him, grabbed his
    arm and prevented him from stopping
    quickly. He was not held..
    Mrs. Van Amburgh had been a resident
    ot_ Niagara Falls for the past
    30 years. She was \ h e widow of Harry
    T, Van Amburgh. She is survived by
    a daughter, Mrsi Elton .Bonnett, of
    Sanborn; two sons, Harvey-and Howard
    Stamm, of Red Bank, N. J.,;
    two sisters, Mrs. Jacob -Mehl, of this
    city, and Mrs. Mary Bonnett, of Ransomvillc;
    two brothers, Louis Schelner,
    of North Tonawanda,- and John
    Schneider, of Erie, Pa., and a granddaughter,
    Virginia Bonnett.
    Funeral servces will be held at the
    Bell funeral chapel, 635 Main,street,
    Friday afternoon.
