    Bowmiller Road, Lockport,
    were held Tuesday morning at
    the Wallace and Heath Funeral
    Home Inc.. Middleport, with the
    Rev. Ivan L. Lange and the
    Rev. Lee Miller officiating. The
    bearers were John Hermann,
    Ellsworth Brown, Peter Aina,
    F r a n k Quagliana, William
    Towne and Roy Taylor. Burial
    was in Royalton Mountain
    Ridge Cemetery.

    Lloyd D. Smith, 62, of 5670
    Bowmiller Road, Lockport,
    died Friday (Dec. 31, 1971)
    after suffering an apparent
    heart attack at his residence.
    He was pronounced dead on
    arrival at Lockport Memorial
    Hospital.
    He was employed at the New
    York State Gas and Electric
    Co. for. 43 years as a gas
    foreman,
    ' Surviving are his widow,
    Mabel Bruning Smith; a son,
    M. Sgt, Alan Smith of the U. S.
    Air Force, stationed at Izmas,
    Turkey; a daughter, Mrs.
    Philip (Ann) Mead of
    Shelbume, Vt.; his mother,
    Mrs. George Smith of
    Lockport; five grandsons and a
    granddaughter.
    Friends may call Sunday and
    Monday from 2*to 4 p.m. and 7
    to 9 p.m. at the Wallace and
    Heath Funeral Home, Middleport,
    where services will be
    conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m.
    Burial will be in Royalton
    Mount Ridge Cemetery.

    The marriage of Miss Mabel Ruth
    Bruning, of 17 Hill street, this city,
    and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Erwin
    Bruning of Albion, N. Y., to Lloyd
    D. Smith, also from here, was
    solemnized on Thursday afternoon
    at 4 o'clock at the home of Mr. and
    Mrs. Howard E. Sterns, 17 Hill
    street. Rev. Ivan Lange of the
    First English Lutheran church,
    Loekport, performed the ceremony.
    The house was attractively dec-
    orated with spring flowers, daffodils
    and narcissi perdominating. Miss
    Dolores Sterns played the wedding
    music.
    The bride was lovely In a gown
    of light blue silk, carrying a bouquet
    of bride's roses, sweetpeas and
    gypsophila. She was attended by
    Miss Esther L Benthen of Albion,
    who wore a frock of rose beige, and
    carried a bouquet of Sunset roses
    and gypsophila. Kenneth Warner
    of Albion attended the groom as
    best man.
    Immediately following the ceremony,
    a reception for twenty guests
    was held, the bride's table was set
    for ten, and was decorated In colors
    of yellow and white.
    Mr. and Mrs. Smith are taking a
    short wedding trip through the
    eastern part of the state, and upon
    returning will take up residence at
    120 Grand street, Loekport. The
    bride's traveling outfit was a brown
    ensemble trimmed with tan, and
    accessories to match.

    Bruning, 84, of 15669 Presbyterian
    Road, died Wednesday
    (June 25, 1969) in Medina Memorial
    Hospital. after a sixmonth
    illness.
    Mr. Brunning, born Aug. 20,
    1884, in the Town of Royalton,
    was the son of Henry and
    Augusta Reimer Bruning. His
    wife, the former Emma Klinke,
    died June 17, 1968.
    He was a retired farmer, Having
    followed that occupation for
    42'years in the Town of Barre,
    Orleans County, and moved here
    five years ago. He was a member
    of St. Peter Lutheran
    Church in Medina.
    Survivors include two daughters,
    Mrs. Floyd (Mabel) Smith,
    Lockport, and Mrs. Louie
    (Alma) Starkweather," Water-
    port; a son, Louis Bruning,
    Knowlesville; 10 grandchildren,
    7 great-grandchildren; five sisters,
    Mrs. Jennie Schilling and
    Mrs. Alma Stern, both of Middleport,
    Mrs. Viola Handrich, Wolcottsville,
    „ and Mrs. Augusta
    Reaboldt and Mrs. Ella Latsch,
    both of Lockport; two brothers,
    Ferdinand.Bruning, Albion, and
    Siegfried BrimLng; Medina, and
    several nieces and nephews.
    A sister, Mrs. Rosella Krpening,
    died in 1956.

    Home, Middleport, from 2 to 4
    and 7 to 9 p.m., where funeral
    services will be- held Saturday

    A. Klinke Bruning, 79, of 12669
    Presbsyterian St. Knowlesvville,
    Orleans County, wife of Erwin
    M.. Bruning died Monday (June
    17, 1968) at her home after suf-
    fering an apparent heart attack.
    She had been ill for several
    months.
    She was born April 9, 1889, in
    the Town of Ridgeway, Oreleans,
    the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
    Fred Klinke. She had lived in
    the Town of Barre, Orleans, for
    42 years, moving to Knowles-
    ville four years ago.
    Mrs.. Bruning was a member
    of St. Peter Lutheran Church,
    Medina.
    Besides her husband, sur-
    vivors include two daughters,
    Mrs. Lloyd (Mabel) Smith,
    Lockport, and Mrs. Louie
    (Alma) Starkweather, Water-
    port; a son, Louis Bruning,
    Lyndonville; 10 grandchildren
    and five great-grandchildren; a
    brother,, Paul Klinke,, Albion,
    and several nieces and nephews.
    Friends may call today and
    Wednesday frorm 2 to 4 and 7
    to 9 p.m. at the Wallace and
    Heath Funeral Home, where
    services will be held at 2 p.m.
    Thursday, the Rev. Carl J.
    Scheidt of St. Peter Church of-
    ficiating. Burial will be in Roy-
    alton Mountain Ridge Cemetery.

    MIDDLEPORT. March 15. - Mrs. Augusta Riemer Bruning, 69, wife of Henry F. Bruning, died Tuesday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred Schilling, west of the village. She is survived by six daughters and three sons, Mrs. Fred Schilling of Middleport, William Frederick and Mrs. Howard Sterns of Lockport, Mrs. Charles Laatsch, Mrs. John Kroning, Mrs. Clarence Reabold and Siefred Bruning of Wolcottsville, Erving and Ferdinand Bruning of Albion and 14 grandchildren and four brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Bruning was born in Germany, coming to Wolcottsville when she was 18 years old where she has since resided. The funeral is being held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 in Trinity Lutheran church, Wolcottsville, with burial in Wolcottsville cemetery, the Rev. Herman Ewald officiating.

    WOLCOTTSVILLE, March 17 - The funeral of the late Mrs. Henry Bruning was held on Thursday afternoon at the Trinity Lutheran church and was largelv attended. Mrs. Bruning died on Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred Shilling of Middleport. She left besides her husband three sons. Edwin, Ferdinand and Siefred Bruning; six daughters. Mrs. Fred Shilling. Mrs. Charles Laatch. Mrs. John Kroenning, Mrs. Clarence Reabolt. Mrs. William Frederick, Mrs. Howard Sterns; four brothers. Paul, Max, Amila and Charles Reimer, and two sisters. Mrs William Landon and Mrs. William Brege, Mrs. Bruning had been ill for some time. She died at the age of 69 years. Burial took place at the Wolcottsville cemetery, and the Rev. H. A. Ewald officiated.
