Mary Fegatilli, 85, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Wednesday November 4, 2015 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Aniela (Bak) Beczkowski.
Mary attended local schools and on February 26, 1949 she married Salvatore J. Fegatilli in Niagara Falls, NY. Mr. Fegatilli predeceased her on September 13, 2003. Mary worked as an unemployment clerk for the New York State Department of Labor in Niagara Falls, NY for over fifteen years. She enjoyed going to the casino, and spending time with family and friends.
Mary is survived by two daughters, Paula (Anthony) Guetta and Nancy (John) Mastromatteo; four grandchildren, Anthony J. (Shanna) Guetta, Danielle (Neal) Urban, Adam (Elizabeth) Mastromatteo, and Natalie Mastromatteo; four great-grandchildren, Julia and Elena Guetta, Gabriella and Emmalynn Mastromatteo; a sister, Irene (late Peter) Bak, and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Henry (late Millie) Beczkowski and Stanley (late Jennie) Beczkowski.
There will be no prior visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Friday November 6th at 10 AM at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph Parish at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 27th St. and Independence Ave. Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Duane Klizek officiating. Private interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. avenue, took place at Holy Trinity
church Saturday morning.
The bride, given In marriage by
her father, wore a white satin gown,
fashioned with a dropped shoulder
line, trimmed in seed pearls. Her
fingertip veil was edged with lace
and fell from a white satin bonnet
trimmed with orange blossoms. She
carried a bouquet of white roses,
centered with a gardenia.
The bridal party included. Miss
Anne Presutti. maid of honor: and
the Misses Lena Celenza, Rose Fegatilli
and Delores Lukasiewicz, bridesmaids.
Mr. Joseph DelGrosso was. best
man with Messrs. Sam Musolino,
Carmen Forcuccl and Bob Quarantlllo,
ushers.
Following the ceremony, breakfast
was served at St. George's hall,
where a reception was held In the
evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Fegatllli left on a
motor trip to Florida, the bride
traveling In a wine suit with gray
accessories.
Upon their return to this city.
Mr. and Mrs. Fegatllll will reside
at 2419 Orleans avenue
