Clarence Brush. 47. died Sunday
(Feb. 2, 1941) at Wheeler
near Bath, following a week's illness.
He was a son of Edgar and
Eva Shaut Brush, born and passed
his life in this community engaged
as a farmer. Surviving are
his widow, the former Mabel
Burke, and a sister, Mrs. Mabel
Davis, Wheeler, with three brothers,
Arthur of Olean, Hibbard of
Kanona and Gordon Brush, Bath.
The funeral was held at 2:00 p. m.
Tuesday at Wheeler with burial
there.

Edgar Charles Brush, 76, died
Sunday morning at the Bath Hospital.
The funeral was held at
2 p. m. Tuesday at the Waldo
Funeral Home with burial in
Nondaga cemetery. Mr, Brush,
was born at Pulteney and passed
his life in Steuben County, for
the past 10 years living at Kano-
na. Surviving are sons Gordon,.
Clarence and Hibbard of Bath
and Arthur Brush, Wellsville;
and a daughter, Mrs. Mabel,
Davis, of Wheeler. Mr. Brush
was well- known as a man of
worth and character and was
held in general esteem.

Edgar married STRATTEN, Emma about 1883. Emma was born in Aug 1862 in New York; died on 3 Apr 1927 in Hammondsport, Steuben County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Brush whose death Sunday occurred
at Hammondsport, were held
Tuesday afternoon at the home of
her son, Clarence Brush of Camp
bell St. Rev. John R Adams of the
Rath Methodist Church, officlated
and the burial was in Nondaga cern
etery. Mrs. Brush's maiden name
was Emma. Stratten and she was
born in the neighboring town of
Pulteney, her life of 64 years being
passed in this communlty She Is
survived by her husband. and two
sons, Hlbbard and Clarence of this
village, a daughter, Mrs. Mabel Dav

Gordon in Hornell.
