Life Legacy

Charles T. Langevin, Sr. (Poppie) 67, of North Tonawanda, Saturday (November 14, 2015) at home. Mr. Langevin was born in Niagara Falls on July 23, 1948 to Felix and Martha (Dullen) Langevin. Charles was predeceased by his wife Kathleen Langevin (Kumm) who he married on February 15 1969, and brother Leo Langevin, who both died in 2011. Charles started working at Buffalo Pumps in February 1969, he retired in January of 2015, he was a former employee of DiCamillo's Bakery and Hooker Chemical. In his spare time he enjoyed working on computers, he was in a local band in his younger years, named Country Heritage and still to this day enjoyed playing the guitar with his son. Charles also enjoyed sitting by the fire drinking a few cold ones.
Charles is survived by his children Charles T. Langevin, Jr., Laura (the late Thomas) Bozeman, Christine Willett, Karen (Timothy Weiskopff) Moore, Step father of Colleen (Donald) Byrd, , grandfather of Christopher (Leah Cutter), Nicholas Langevin, Meghan, and Thomas Boezman, Kaylee Hurtt, Kayla and Jacob Moore, Krista and Shyanne Kunes, Todd Beyer, Jr. and Alexis Brown, and great grandfather of Tholen Langevin, Alex and Aubriannah Henhawk, and Aniyah Mallard, also surviving are many sister in laws Janet (the late John) Steingasser Sr., Lynette (Keith) Moeller, Barbara (David) O'Brien, Sr., Connie (Dennis) Jurasz, Kelly (David) Rosenberger, brother in law Stewart (Beth) Kumm, and the late Edward F. Kumm, III, he is survived by one aunt, Barbara Jean (the late Thomas Dullen), and many nieces and nephews and good friend Lawrence Willet. Friends may call Saturday from 2-6 P.M. at the Wattengel Funeral Home, 307 Oliver St. North Tonawanda, NY where funeral services will follow.
