William was a WWII veteran, a member of Sutherland Lodge and a member of First United Methodist Church of North Tonawanda. A Memorial Service will be held Friday at 11:00 AM from First United Methodist Church, 65 Main St., North Tonawanda. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the ASPCA. GREEN - Jean (nee Sheppard) Of North Tonawanda, June 23, 2016, beloved wife of 69 years to the late William Green; dear mother of Carol (David) McDowell, Sue (Brian) Finn, James (Marilyn) Green, Diane (Kurt) Buddenhagen and Cathy (Christopher) Moody; loving grandmother of Jennifer (Bryan) McDowell, Rebecca (Michael) Grochala, Thomas (Nicolette) Warning, Allie (Stanley) Swogier, Melanie (Alex) Marshanke, Carly Buddenhagen, Sara Kinney, Jonathan (Reanna) Moody and Keleyn Moody; proud great-grandmother of twelve. A member of First United Methodist Church of North Tonawanda, Jean was known for her love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and her compassion for all animals. A memorial service will be held on July 18 at WATTENGEL FUNERAL HOME, 533 Meadow Drive, North Tonawanda.
