William was a WWII veteran, a member of Sutherland Lodge and a member of First United Methodist Church of North Tonawanda. A Memorial Service will be held Friday at 11:00 AM from First United Methodist Church, 65 Main St., North Tonawanda. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the ASPCA.     GREEN - Jean (nee Sheppard) Of North Tonawanda, June 23, 2016, beloved wife of 69 years to the late William Green; dear mother of Carol (David) McDowell, Sue (Brian) Finn, James (Marilyn) Green, Diane (Kurt) Buddenhagen and Cathy (Christopher) Moody; loving grandmother of Jennifer (Bryan) McDowell, Rebecca (Michael) Grochala, Thomas (Nicolette) Warning, Allie (Stanley) Swogier, Melanie (Alex) Marshanke, Carly Buddenhagen, Sara Kinney, Jonathan (Reanna) Moody and Keleyn Moody; proud great-grandmother of twelve. A member of First United Methodist Church of North Tonawanda, Jean was known for her love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and her compassion for all animals. A memorial service will be held on July 18 at WATTENGEL FUNERAL HOME, 533 Meadow Drive, North Tonawanda. Family will be present at 10 a.m. with the service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the ASPCA. Arrangements by Wattengel Funeral Home.
