    Edward O. Pfohl, 86, of Baldwinsville, died Friday at Syracuse Home Assoc. He was born in Syracuse and lived in the Baldwinsville area all his life. He owned and operated Indian Springs Manufacturing, Baldwinsville, for many years before retiringin 1985. Edward was very active in the Freemasons, such as past master of the F. & A. M. Seneca River Lodge #160 in Baldwinsville, past patron of the Eastern Star Chapter #219, Tigris Shrine of Liverpool, Red Cross of Constantine, Royal Arch Masons and the Lodge Council Chapter Consistory. He was also active at First Presbyterian Church in Baldwinsville, where he once served as a deacon. Survivors: his wife of 64 years, Helen M.; two daughters, Nancy A. Sauro of Baldwinsville and Patricia
    M. Ferguson of Pulaski; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; cousins; several nieces and nephews. Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church, Baldwinsville. Private burial at Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville. No calling hours. Contributions: First Presbyterian Church, 64 Oswego Street, Baldwinsville, NY 13027 or Syracuse Home Association, 7740 Meigs Road, Baldwinsville, NY 13027.

    Helen M. Bubb Pfohl, 89, of Baldwinsville, died Friday, November 13, 2009 at Syracuse Home Association. She was born in Syracuse and has lived in the Baldwinsville area most of her life. She was a life member and Past Matron of the Baldwinsville Eastern Star, Seneca River Lodge #160. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Baldwinsville, a member of the Presbyterian Woman's Club and also a lifetime member of the Syracuse Home Auxillary. Helen was a Red Cross nurse for several years and was once part owner of Indian Springs in Baldwinsville with her husband, Edward O. Pfohl, who pre-deceased her in 2004.
    Survivors: two daughters, Nancy A. Sauro (Leonard) Houck and Patricia M. (Maurice) Ferguson, both of Baldwinsville; 6 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
    Services: 1:00 pm Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at the First Presbyterian Church Baldwinsville. Private burial at Riverview Cemetery. No calling hours.

    Mr. and Mrs. John L. Bubb of the
    River, rd. announce the engagement
    of their daughter,-Miss-Helen Marie
    Bubb, to Edward Pfohl, son of Mr.,
    and Mrs. Charles Pfohl of 162 Jas
    jer St., Syracuse.
    Miss Bubb graduated from North
    high school in 1939 and Mr. Pfohl is
    an alumnus of Vocational high
    school where he graduated in 1937.
    He isi employed by the Diefendorf
    Gear Corp., Syracuse.
    The wedding will take place next
    June.

    Miss Helen Marie Bubb, daughter
    of Mr. and Mrs. John L. Bubb, Sr.; of
    this village, became the bride of
    Edward Owen Pfohl, son of 'Mr. and
    Mrs. Charles Pfohl of Syracuse, in
    Westminister Presbyterian church,
    Syracuse* at 4 o'clock last Friday
    afternoon. Rev. Ronald^ M. Straus
    performed the ceremony.
    Mrs. Mildred Bronson gave an
    organ recital before the ceremony and
    Mrs-. John L" Bubb, Jr., sister-in-law
    of the bride sang "I Love You Truly."
    The altar was banked with palms,
    spyrea and orchid and yellw iris.
    Miss Dorothy Lewis was maid of
    honor and Miss Marian Snyder and
    Miss Betty Jones were bridesmaids
    Charles Pfohl was his brothers' best
    man and ushers were Jack Pfohl,
    cousin of the bridegroom and William
    West.
    The bride Was given in marriage by
    her father. She wore a white marquisette
    floor length gown made princess
    style with train. The bodice was
    finished with sweetheart neckline and
    the sleeves were long coming to
    points over the hands. Her tulle veil
    was fingertip length and held in place
    by orange blossoms. She wore a
    string of pearls belonging to the
    bridegroom's grandmother and carried
    a shower of white roses and likes of
    the valley.
    The maid of honor wore blue marquisette
    and the bridesmaids were in
    pink marquisette. Their gowns were
    floor length made princess style with
    short puffed sleeves. They wore
    flowers in their hair and carried arm
    bouquets of roses and snapdragons.
    Mrs. Bubb, the bride's mother,
    chose a dusty pink gown with blue
    accessories and a corsage of pink
    roses. Mrs. Pfohl wore blue with
    white accessories and a corsage of
    roses.
    Following the reception which was
    held in the church, Mr. and~Mrs Pfohl
    left for -a-trip through the Catskills.
    For traveling the 'new matron wore
    blue sharkskin with white accessories.
    Upon their return they will reside at
    302 Park street, Syracuse.
    Rre-nuptial affairs given for the
    bride-to-be included a kitchen shower
    at the home of Mrs. Charles Pfohl,
    a tea and personal shower given by
    Miss Dorothy Lewis, a miscellaneous
    shower given by the Rainbow girls
    with Miss Betty Jones as hostess.
    Mrs. One Reen and Mrs. C. E. Conine
    were joint hostesses at a linen
    shower. Mrs. Edward Smith and Miss
    Marian Snydfef at a pantry shower,
    and Miss Helen Garni a miscellaneous
    shower.

    Services were hed at 2 p.m.
    Saturday at the Gates-Sears Fu-

    Burial was in Riverview Ceme-
    tery.

    She was the widow of John

    Mrs. Bubb resided in
    Baldwinsville about 40 years. She
    was a native of Kansas.
    She was a member of
    Baldwinsville Chapter 218, Order
    of the Eastern Star, and the First
    Presbyterian Church.
    Mrs. Bubb is survived by a
    daughter, Mrs. Edward Pfohl of
    Baldwinsville; a son, Howard of
    Cape Vincent; seven
    grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren.
    Services were held Friday at
    the Gates Funeral Home, Rev.
    Roger Pohl officiating. Burial
    was in Riverview Cemetery
