    James G. Bubb, age 75, of North Tonawanda, died Saturday, September 3, 2011 at the St. Francis Home of Williamsville, after a long illness. Born in North Tonawanda, he was the son of the late George and Rosalie (nee Klimas) Bubb and had been a lifelong resident of North Tonawanda. Mr. Bubb was an Air Force Veteran of the Berlin Crisis, the Vietnam War, and served with the 107th Fighter-Interceptor Group. He was employed at the Niagara Falls Air Base until retiring in 1994.

    He is survived by his wife, Brenda (nee Zipp) Bubb; five sons, Fred (Rosemary) Bubb of Iowa City, Iowas John (April) Bubb of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Craig Bubb of Wheatfield, New York, Patrick (Natalie) Bubb of Williamsville, New York, and Richard Bubb of North Tonawanda, New York; and a daughter, Jamie (Thomas) Lendel of Wheatfield, New York. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Sharon Bubb.

    Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 PM today (Tuesday) only at the Hamp Funeral Home, Inc., 37 Adam Street at Seymour, Tonawanda. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 AM on Wednesday at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 231 McKinley Parkway in Buffalo. Friends invited. Interment with military honors at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Town of Tonawanda. If desired, mass offerings to Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 231 McKinley Parkway, Buffalo, NY 14220, are preferred.

    A lifelon resident of this city,
    he was a member of St Joseph's
    Church,, the Elredge Bicycle Club,
    and the last Man's Club. He was
    employed by Wales-Strippitt Corp.
    He is survived by his wife, the
    former Rosalie Klimas; a son,
    James Bubb, with the U. S. Air
    Force in Bedford, Mass.; his par-
    ent, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bubb,,
    this city; three brothers,, Eugene
    and Ronald Bubb with the U. S Air
    Force stationed in Maine and a
    sister,, Mrs. Chester Myers, this
    city.
    Prayers will be said at 10:30
    a.m. Saturday in the Niagara
    Memorial Chapel. A requiem
    High Mass will be celebrated at
    11 a.m. in St. Joseph Church.
    Interment will be in Mt. Olivet
    Cemetery.
