    NORTH TONAWANDA-Elmer L. Hardy, 77, of
    -231 Robinson St., died Tuesday (Jan. 9, 1968) after
    suffering an apparent heart attack in his home. He
    was pronounced dead on arrival at DeGraff Memorial
    Hospital.

    last 55 years. He had been employed
    since 1912 by the Auto
    Wheel Coaster Co., as a tool
    room clerk.
    He was a member of Grace
    Lutheran Church and Electric
    City Lodge 663 IOOF.
    Survivors include his wefe, the
    former Mathilida Bubb; a son,
    Robert ol Boise, Idaho; two
    & & TwT
    slsters, Mrs. Kathryn Serbert of
    Toronto and Mrs.Elsie Forth of
    this city; two brothers, William
    and Henry, both of this city,
    and two grandchildren.
    Friends may call from 2 to
    4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Wattengell
    Funeral Home where a
    service will be conducted at 1:30
    p.m. Friday by the Rev. E.
    Werner Wienreich. Burial will
    be in Elmlawn Cemetery.

    Stricken with heart trouble while
    marching with the members of Elec-
    tric City and Niagara River Lodges of
    Odd Fellows to attend the services at
    the First M.E. church last evening.
    John Bubb, seventytwo years old, was
    removed to his home at 231 Robinson
    street, where he died fifteen minutes
    later. Mr. Bubb was a member of Nia-
    gara river lodge and a charter mem-
    ber of Sutherland Lodge, F & A M.
    Mr. Bubb had resided in North Ton-
    awanda for the past 37 years, during
    that time he had been employed as an
    engineer by the Erie railroad. In
    recent years,, however, he was employ-
    ed as engineer onlly during the sum-
    mer, operating one of the switch en-
    gines in the local yards
    Mr. Bubb dropped out of line as Oliv
    er and Trement streets, telling fellowo
    odgemen that he felt too weak to con-
    tinue. He sat down on a nearby ver-
    anda and, becoming faint, was assist-
    ed to his home and a physician call-
    ed.
    Mr. Bubb is survived by his wife, a
    daughter, Mrs. Elmer R. Hardy, and
    two sons, John Bubb of San Francisco
    and Frank J. Bubb of Tonawanda.
    The funeral will be held Wednesday
    after (unreadable) at 2:30 oclock from the late
    residence. Rev Paul Heath of the
    North Presbyterian church officiating.
    Interment will be at Elmlawn. Suther-
    land lodge will be in charge.

    Mrs. Minie F. Bubb, 76 years
    old, died Saturday at her home,
    231 Robinson street. She was born
    in Germany and had resided in
    North Tonawanda for the past 48
    years. She was a member of the
    Grace Lutheran church. Surviving
    are a son, Frank J., Tonawanda;
    a daughter, Mrs. Elmer
    Hardy, North Tonawanda; six
    grandchildren and one great
    grandchild. Rites will be held tomorrow
    afternoon at 2:30 o'clock
    from the residence. Rev. John H.
    Sprock will officiate. Burial will
    be in Elmlawn
